hell no they are the smartest little fuckers iv ever seen, my first hamster, opened the cage door, managed to unhidge two tubes, untwisted his bed compartment, popped off a tube blocker, lifted part of his cage and all this just to escape my other 2 did similar things but by this point i had all sorts stopping them crazy bastards

and tia just hold it, it really does need to get used to you and stop putting your fingers near its head aswell makes it easy to bite
