going to play the devil's advocate here and ask what if that guy had previously stolen that girls iPhone.

This isn't like the Amber Lamps guy where we can clearly see the entire story and the source of the conflict. The video title says 5 girls beat and rob and pregnant woman which is obviously an exaggeration to start with but with a title like that you, as a viewer, are already poised against the girls.

Also they specifically say 5 black girls which is unnecessary unless the viewer thinks we can't see the color of their skin so it's obviously there for emphasis which already raises some red flags in my head.

Back to the video i see two girls hitting, one girl laughing, one girl talking, and one girl holding the other girl back. So it's not like all 5 of them were beating down a pregnant chick like the video title says. Now i know chicks can be crazy and i definitely wouldn't put it past a chick to say an iPhone was hers just so she could steal it but does no one else find it odd that one of the girls seemed to be trying to talk to the man. If they were going to steal it they obviously outnumbered them. They had the phone already and he obviously wasn't getting it back without a fight. So what would be the point in trying to open a dialogue.

I don't really know what happened and this doesn't really ruin my day mostly because i don't know what happened, i've seen worse from people. The point of this post is merely to point out that without knowing the full story and with a video title like that it's basically bait for every racist under the sun to gather together for a moment of ignorance and rub each others dicks. I'm sure the youtube comments are a sea of "n*gger this" and "n*gger that" and i expect that from youtube commentators which are several notches below even IMDB posters and i've come to expect it from several of you but there are holes in this story and any intelligent person should be able to see those holes. I'm not putting fault or saying shame on ____ even though two of those girls were obviously out of control because i don't know whats going on the poster of the video may have ulterior motives besides trying to point out a disrupting moment on public transportation. It could also be a bunch of crazy bitches trying to steal an iPhone.

I agree and disagree, imo, it is ok to push a woman, if she is hitting me, (or in this matter,throw her on the chair) but ofc i wouldnt punch her in the face, unless she pulls, a knife. If she keeps hitting me annoying me, id just do something, but not hit her, even though, if i'd get away with it, id kill all those stupid bitches that hit the pregnant girl.

After looking at the whole video, that's all it ends up being in my book. The girls getting on the bus just casually reached over and grabbed the iphone and the white girl instantly reacts and tries talking to them to get it back.

Where it escalates is the girl hanging on the rails kicking the guy in the head. There are plenty of self defense techniques that can quickly immobilize that girl, but I am thinking even using those would have brought the rest of them into the fray.

I'm sorry, but as soon as someone punches me in the head, I'm not likely to be holding back either, women or not. It's assault and battery and I have the right to respond with equal force. Whether that's moral or not - varies with the person. I was taught women are equals and as such I would treat a woman the same way I treat a man.

The whole story!

A pregnant teen says she feared for her baby when she and her boyfriend were attacked by a group of four girls and a woman on a Seattle Metro bus last month.

It was all captured on the bus' security camera.

Police say Jessica Redmon-Beckstead, 17, was riding on the packed bus in the city's Belltown neighborhood during the evening rush hour Nov. 19 when a 19-year-old woman, three 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old girl came on board.

Surveillance video shows that, just 34 seconds after the girls got on, one of them grabbed the MP3 player Jessica and her boyfriend, Jason Decoste, were listening to. When they resisted, they were beaten and kicked by the five suspects, police say.

Redmon-Beckstead says she turned around again and was struck in the eye and began bleeding profusely. It wound up requiring six stitches to close, authorities say.

Jessica mentioned twice that she was pregnant and said she didn't want to fight them, but says one of them made the comment, "Well, nobody hit her in the stomach."

Investigators add that, as the attack was occurring, three of the girls stole items from the boyfriend's pockets.

The attack continued until the bus pulled over. The bus driver called police. The victims were able to escape, police say.

Metro Police say they tracked down three of the alleged attackers about a half-hour after the incident. They say they arrested the other two days later.

Investigators say the 19-year-old, Ayana Sharee Cain, was charged with assault and has since bailed out of jail. The other four girls were charged in juvenile court with second degree robbery. Three remain in custody while the fourth is on electronic home monitoring, police say.

All five suspects have prior arrests, authorities add.
