Can anyone from BlackHand or something gives us the fact that makes him invincible? I've heard rumours that it takes 4 guys or something to beat him..

Whats so special? Sos gear? Good build? Can he kill or do he just tank?

phunky's a legend!!

I think what makes his reputation is that he is mysterious, i mean i never saw him posting here or on tavern, never told anything about a possible ownage gear/tricks/skills

so that make a badass reputation imo

Survivability = defense + running away.

You can either run around a lot, which increases your survivability, or have really good gear, which does the same.

A strength character's ability to tank is directly related to how good his gear is, how good his buffs are, and how good his shield blocks.

If someone tanks well, his gear is good, he is farmed, and he is without a doubt a strength character.

Its not so hard to pick apart.

First, shield. Which gives crazy defense points to both magic, and physical. phunky's is SOS I am pretty sure. I would also speculate its also +5 or +7, but I didnt look close yet. But you could guess thats about +10 to +12. Phenomenal difference in defense, and having BLOCKS.

It is rumored, his outfit is full SOS. If all your equips were SOS+3, thats about the same as +8 on all gears, or +10 if you got them to +5 or more. That would make your gears about the same as level 80. Plus of course, the shield. But I dont know if this is really true. Even if he had just chest / pants it would make a substantial difference in defense points.

SP? Farming?

Remember phunky was hacked and de-leveled from 57 or 58, down to 52. Knowing you don't lose any skills you already have, thats like 5 addition levels of skillpoints regained, plus any farming gaps he has had along the journey, and farming while he was capped.

Tis true, bladers have a real hard time killing people the same level.

BUT... phunky has an SOS+7 blade, and it hurts - badly.

He has really great gear as stated above. Other then that, anybody can kill him. Could you possibly imagine a zerked phunky who crits and uses a hit scroll with merchs?

I found some OLD screens of phunky in action. At this time he didn't have a sos shield for example. So he can probably tank even more now.

ChoPfoX from my server tanked 5 ppl 2 of the 5 pppl had full sos and sos +7s and another 1 had sos +7 wep and rest 2 only had +5 he tanked and killed alll them by himself took awhile tho the full sos users were a fire glaive str and fire spear 2int 1 str other 3 were also glaives.

but ChoPfoX wears full sos so yea

By everyone that's posted, it ain't that hard to grab those sos-gears (sure it's expensive, but doable) and.. There must be some other high-lvl bladers, like Troy for example? Is he as badass as phunky, or is his rep just bad because he botted?

Sure... Troy have SOS+9 blade and so does zeerox

But you rarely ever see them in conflict doing jobs, wars or much of anything lately. They don't talk much either.

phunky's out there throwing down and owning people up, so hes well known. Also has better reputation of course -.-

You never know with that guy, he got everything you need, every 64-SoS weapon, glavie, bow, blade etc. But I think it's his build that is pretty much ..... up. One day he is a blader, and the next day hes a glavier. He can do it because he has both bicheon & heuksal at highlvl. And he doesn't seem to care much either since he's at southgate caping 24/7. :wink:

This is what I've heard so don't believe it all..

Few people care if bots like them (Duck_Egg, Duck_Shit, Troy, etc) are strong. When they open a stall and show you their full SOS set, people say "you suck botter" not "wow your strong"

Who cares what theyre wearing, as long as they are on the banlist eventually please.

No one can kill phunky 1v1, pretty much. Yesterday over 10 people couldn't kill him. Nukers, str's, hybrids, none.

it's not only the gear that makes phunky a pvp god

you have to know when to run, when to grasswalk, when to set up a wall, etc. Phunky is an extremely experienced player, and sometimes you can listen to him giving out advice about pvp'ing in guild chat.

If you pit someone with equal gear against phunky, phunky will still own

well stated. He's a player in every sense of the word, add to that even a nice guy, which can actually be quite helpful as people are willing to lower prices for him or let him know first when they get a nice drop. He's a gentle giant and a good guy to have around whatever level he is.

btw... if ur wondering.. _Tomoko_ is the INT version of phunky...

sos gears... 8k+ hp for a pure int.. Sos +7 spear....

and dammm she HITS hard..... and can Beat all the Glaviers(70) that i saw

btw.... Tomoko is legit too... holds high reput... NICE and helpful.. and SHE kicks ASS... i dunno who's stronger.. phunky can certainly tank more... but Tomoko is INSANE at guildwars... if uever get a chance to see her in action... BAM 10k on pure str lvl 70 with GARMENT

also, just cause she can 2 hit phunky doesnt necessarily means she'll win. Nukes take hella long time to charge and pure ints usually don't last very long

ya she's strong and a nice person but i doubt she could do that much dmg, lau could never kill phunky 1v1 when phunky didnt even have a sos shield and lau was almost capped i think with sos sword and sos shield

those "good" tankers on troy are all bots/CCFers

like that new "dignity" guild. all gold buyers, and bought characters. all botted to as well. F_U_C_K_E_R has a full SOS +7 armor set. holeephuc... i do not want to know what shes wearing. dungnygyen = full +6 set (with the help of MYC of course), rolly has all +5 set (CCF). and that yoshimuro is one of the biggest CCFers ever created on SRO(he bought ALL his gold, CCFed all his gear, blah blah).

is phunky completely 100% legit w/o ccfing? i dont know but i know in Troy almost no one has 100% legit gear. As far as strongest, there are two that stand above the rest and everyone knows it:

Osbourne and FongYin

Of course there are many rumors going around about how much they ccf/etc., but the fact remains that currently, they destroy anyone. Osbourne is a pure str glaive with super gear and can take 5 people easily. FongYin is a pure int sword with super gear and can take probably 3-4 people.

As for the +9 blader? Everyone kills him in a second, so he's no threat compared to other stronger players (other notable strong players would be DiNE [pure str glaive], Takeshima_Zuk [pure str blade], frenks [glaive], maSSam [int], and WSY1 [pure int 8k+ hp])

Regarding HoLeePhuc, he does not ccf, and has had his same gear for a long time now, he's just been farming for ages in the caves. Also I think he's just temping in Dignity to help out Dung. Also he's very killable as Milktea knows (Milktea is a known botter but now is fully farmed and has his SOS super spear and hurts a lot)

Nearly all of Emperor either CCFs or bots or both. FongYin had a stall up by stable the other day. Full SOS armor and SOS +7 sword. All the armor were +5 with astral on them. 2 of the armor pieces were +6. Everything had astral and immortal on it.

well the last time i asked...Lau only had like 6k hp....And for a nuker...taking away 6k is pretty much nothing
