What happens if i add a STR attribute stone to a weapon

the weapon is already str +2 increase but i want it to be STR +6 increase.. if i add another str stone to it does it destroy the weapon?

No need to start bitching right away, it's not that hard to post 2 questions in one topic.

For the question, you can't destroy your weapon with alchemy stones. It can either fail, succeed and change the str 2 to str 2 or succeed and change the str 2 to str 1, 3 through 6.

With both succeeds there's a change it will randomly change one (or even two) other stats on your item.
