Error code(193)
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Everytime that i try to log in, it tells me that my replacer.exe file is damaged, but i can't find a replacement for it. Any suggestions?
Maybe i have the answer..
go to this link: http://www.silkroadonline.net/sro_board ... =2&Num=493
download the file and when you've done it, open the file. Then doubleclick on the replacer.exe and say yes that you want to replace it.
and then it works. (Maybe

Did not work =(
It didn't work. I installed and rebooted and when i went to go and do the replacer icon thing, it says : "Please execute launcher program" . Any suggestions? It is my replacer.exe thats damaged ( at least that is what it says ) so if you have any other suggestions, that'd be mighty kind. Here is a list of what i have done so far:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installed it, Install wen through just fine. Ran the "patcher" got to 80% gave me the error.
Deleted EVERYTHING, and repeated.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have it on my home computer (pulled it from my brothers comp) and it works just fine. He told me that he had recieved that error before as well and he told me to delete all of it and to re-install everything so that is what i did.
I have re-installed a total of 10x already and no luck so far.
Did you get this problem before? Am i DLing from the right location (http://www.silkroadonline.net/dataroom/download.asp)?
The one that i clicked on was the first one, the one that says Silkroad on it.
Well any help is welcome. I would like be able to have Silkroad Online up and going on the system that i am atm:
I am using the same system that i have at home, Windows 2000 with a Nvidia video card 256mb ram ( at home i got 516, but that shouldn't make any difference, right?) and a 40 gig hardrive (80 at home ).
Anyone, please?
(Thank you kindly for your help so far Jerone )

hmm..
Maybe you must replace the other 3 things tot that are in the file to (SilkErrSender.exe, Silkroad.exe and sro_client.exe).
That's one suggestion
The second one is to update your drivers. I had a week ago fixed the C++ error by updating my drivers.
And maybe i know why it says:''Please execute launcher program.'' You must shut all the programs of, like Xfire and Silkroad to.
And if this don't help plz give me a screen with the problem. Just put it in this topic. Maybe I can help you better then.

I'd suggest downloading this zip file of my 4 copies of the exes here:
http://download.yousendit.com/BF749CAC4072AED2
because they're fully patched. I just zipped them like a minute ago and SRO's running just fine at the moment so you know these work. Replace all 4 of the exe's with those after U unzip them then run the one named silkroad.exe. All the rest I think give U an error because silkroad.exe is the launcher and they want that to be running first so open silkroad.exe and it should work fine. If they don't try disabling your antivirus which I bet is Norton because it looooves to mess with exe's while they're running and make them seem damaged.
