Please, do comment on how I got the monitor I wanted at Best Buy without going to the store for the SAME price as in store. It may not apply all the time, but it seems to have worked for me. Black Friday is changing slightly at least for some stores.

Ditto for several things that day I didn't need to leave the house.

Did not participate in this shit. I see no point in standing outside the store for hours, waiting in line with a crapload of people, and hoping they still have the stuff you wanna buy in stock... all to save a couple of bucks. At least in my case, they only brought down the prices by $5-$50 per item.

I saved a little over 300 bucks on a new TV which wasn't bad. Had a friend that worked at the store just give me the tag when I walked in and didn't have to even be in the store more than 10 minutes. First time I even thought about going. I think it had to do with it being at like 4-5 in the morning this year and I was up anyways.
