Doron, i understand the lookin good all the time vibe, but it's too materialistic.

The reason i feel that way is because you shouldn't always be looking forward to get to know new people, there should be a time and space where that's more likely to happen, but even if it isn't so, you should dress nicely for the everyday life, but be able to dress even better whenever you go out at public gatherings and stuff.

Paying too much attention on what you should wear and thinking you "should" dress nice for whatever occasion is bit too superficial for me. I actually don't like people who are like that because often..... what they have to wear and what they feel they should look like is far more important to them than the well being and concerns of others.....

Yet,

You can't deny that knowing when to dress is important. In today's society, your "worth" is largely represented by your presentation, and this not only includes hygiene and image but attire.

There's a reason why there are social occasions, and social gatherings.

Honestly, i really truly understand that always wanting to look your best makes ya feel good, but really, there should be days where you can just put some training jeans on and some sweater and just go without worrying too much with ur hair, lookin good but simple, just relax.

The problem is everyone's judging everyone else too much on their clothes, we can't help it judge people, but we shouldn't mark the opinions, we should always leave space open, thing is most of us don't.

In a world surrounded by stupid people, you either get ur shit straight and fit in, or if you try to do things ur way without status, you're gonna get shit in ur face.

*problem*

Even then I look good. Sometimes I have to get up early, and since I'm a morning shower person, my hair is most of the time wet when I go out. So then I put on my beany and it makes me so cute!*srsly, my beany pics always get the cute stamp.*

This is true and yet a retarded and primitive way to think. Why should the guy that looks clean cut in a suite be seen as "more worthy" or "successful" when we all know that appearances and first impressions are not important as the revealed characteristics of the person. Any personality type can wear a suit or nice clothing...Any...

Isn't it the first impression that makes you want to get to know the person inside that awesome handsome/beautiful exterior?

If that was true more often it would be great. But instead people tend to let the first impression fool them over and over. You are what you do...not what you look like.

I am extremely materialistic and I could easily blow over a hundred dollars at a department store in under an hour but this is just too much. What people need to start understanding is that no one really cares about brands (ofc cheap chinese clothes are a no no) but how you put it together. I'm much more impressed when someone makes a strong fashion statement than when they are rocking the latest DG or Gucci. BTW metrosexual ftw. Why wouldn't anyone want to look badass all of the time?
