I'm astounded by the number of people in this thread who view themselves as being somewhat superior to smokers simply because they don't consume the product (or they're "occasional"/"social" smokers). I mean, to stop talking to someone simply because they took out a cigarette - a little arrogant, wouldn't you agree? I'm all for encouraging people to quit and lead a healthier lifestyle but it really shouldn't be an excuse for people to act like self-absorbed assholes. If this is really how you people react in real life situations, I feel sorry for you.
Just saying, some of you need to take a better look at yourselves =)

I don't think I am higher then those who smoke. People do as they wish. But I however am not going to tolerate people smoking around me. I like my smoke free environment and you should at least respect that. If you can't then gtfo I am not getting 2nd hand smoke.
I was a smoker, but obviously I quit. Maybe the best thing I have ever done, yeah probably? But I hate being around smokers now, I can smell the smoke on them. Both my parents smoke, and I can smell it on my clothes, hair, just about everything. But before hand, I couldn't smell it, and my sense of smell was really bad. I still get the urge to smoke, every now and then. When I am stressed etc.
