No spoilers plz, im only on mission 3. Started playing MP again, much more bearable, but still a bit choppy.

edit:
Wtf my MP has been "Downloading Game Files" with the little spinny circle thing for a while now... wont let me join games.

I am a little turned off at how much hate Black Ops has been getting on their Forums =[ Why are gamers never satisfied anymore?

Every game is like that now :/ It really is sad. But from what I thought over the past years where I have actually paid attention to the community of a game, most people who go on to a forum are there to complain. The rest who actually enjoy the game don't bother since they rather go play than talk about it. But Gears of War 2 had the WORST community. Every single thread involved people ranting about bad things. It really was sad. At least with MW2 there were some positive threads sprinkled in there.

it's pretty much like that on all mainstream games official forums regardless if the game is good or bad given the simple fact that usually there's more to "discuss" when there's a complaint/rant/suggestion. + most people that like the game are spending their free time, playing the game.

i'd ask initial thoughts on the game since i can't really afford it at the moment but those are almost always good unless you're a big time critic.

do the MP maps seem decent though? favorite weapons so far etc, would like input on that kind of thing.

lol i figured the same, they talked so much trash about how it was an unhackable game. Everything is hackable, and they pissed hackers off even more by saying that. Btw the 15th lobby isn't released yet, and people can't go online with their hacked xbox due to new dashboard update. Another thing, the 15th lobby video has been out for 2-3 days now, so the game got hacked before release.

We'll see just how many are really hacked in the official release. Anyone have pics of what the Prestige Icons are?

I got noobtubed 3 times and direct impacted once in a single Farking match..and then I get killed by pussies who are too afraid to make one step. Ugh...It was like a lvl 5 guy and the first thing he buys is a noobtube lol >.> typical

Besides that it's pretty cool, got attack dogs from my cp once :sohappy: And a rolling thunder. Usually top player, that game here above I was at like 20 while rest had 8 >.> New players are fun to go against but to have..no thanks.

Impressed so far. Level 25. Got a headache now.. played too much today.

Seems much more balanced than MW2, killstreaks dont ruin the game, perks are much better.

RC cars are too good though for a 3killsteak.

My only complaint, almost all of the maps seem kind of small.

Only tried tdm/domination so far and they work decently with the maps IMO.

I'm gonna quit too, head hurts a bit and it's nearing 1am. Almost lvl 20 (got the game around 3pm and finished the campaign first). Tomorrow camo's yay!

I think thats to stop the camping, bigger maps make it harder to make the game camp-free, just my opinion. I like most of the maps, except jungle, hate sniping.

I'm sure they will fix it.

Gonna go to bed now but just wanted to say I hate the tomahawk. I keep getting bankrupted by that thing in sticks and stones ._. Gun game is alot of fun, one in the chamber is pretty cool too and haven't tried the last one yet. Watch out for the high roll wager matches, there's a bug with it that when the winner leaves at the end you wont get your money and loose a great deal of the money you got. Or something like that, could've been the host and not the winner. Well nights xD

Oh, and I got a triple semtex =D

Depends on the price I might do it. Although having to pay for both live and cod would be overkill. We'll see, 2011 is still 2 months away and for all we know it might be around dec 2011.

the controls for this game feels just like WaW. i want the feel to be like mw2. so far i haven't experience anything good about this game, except that you can use a controller in the pc version. i'll never buy a treyarch cod game again. in my opinion treyarch is worst than infinity ward. i only love the zombies mode and thats it about them.

I had like a 0.33 KDR for my first 10 games.

Then I got rid of the sniper and i've been solid almost every game since (4.22 over the last 9 games) - yet my KDR is still horrid ;'(

I see, they took out the over 9000 grenades, and replaced it with situation after situation of being shot from 100 directions, and of course, get shot 3 times and you're dead... I realize Veteran is supposed to be hard, but this is Farking regodamneddiculous.

Yeah, and besides that it's not like the game is worth paying a fee for. There are major glitches with the game and modders are also a constant problem. If they were to start charging then they damn well better fix these problems or they will have a shit storm on their hands.
