i am new to this game and i would like to make a pure str but i dont know if i'm suppost to master the skill series in order, or just get thoes skills anytime? and can some one help me with sp farming? im so confuse!

This is a great Guide. I am lvling up nicely with a 3 lvl gap (until like 40). i have all my main masteries (fire heuksal and force) at lvl 21 and my light at lvl 18. i dont know if i am going to lvl my light much more and was wondering if going into cold would be a good idea or not for the frost guard series and stuff.

At what level do you suggest I change my job to a thief or a hunter..some say that it would be good to do it at level 30..btw im a level 18 pure str/fire/glaiver and im new to the game but i've been reading a lot so im slowly getting a nice feel for SRO..

Well, i am new and i was adviced by some of my friends to play a pure str glavier with fire force. When it comes to the adding of the skills, i am really confuse... on which skill should i add.. so can anyone of u list down what should i add?

Since you're doing mainly physical damage, piercing force isn't necessary. Fire force series on the other hand will help. Max those.

I'm a pure strength glaiver and was wondering if any of you guys think Chain Spear Shura is worth putting some skill points into for PvM. Also, could I get some opinions on shura being used in any PvP? To my knowledge it's not as useful as gs or ss.

I`m a level 16 pure STR Glavie,and I`ve currently got a 6 level gap between my level and my masteries and,honestly,even if I can easily take on black or white tigers,level exp comes very hard.I followed a sp farming guide,and it was ok,but right now,things realy suck.I`m seriously thinking on leveling my masteries,since I`ve got more than 1000 sp,only to get level exp faster.And one more thing,Garmet is a good idea for an Str build,but,at least below level 20,the only magic damage is from the Yehoa(from distance only) and from black tigers,so I recomand Armor,since it will reduse the damage taken grately.

I would only switch to garment at lvl30 plus. Apart from the TOMB STONES and Black Tigers every other MOB uses physical attacks. I personally love protector till later lvls as magic has a greater importance earlier on. The MP cost reduction saves me on MP pots. Lvl 16 the best place to be is still the bandit stronghold. the speed in which the MOBs spawn cancels out the lower exp/sp you get plus the addition of more gold makes it the coolest place to farm.

I'm lvl23 now and I have kept a 9 lvl gap from the start, now down to a 8 lvl gap.*lvl gap = +100% exp, -10%sp on a 9lvl gap. Quicker leveling and not much lost SP.

I"m stil kinda new at this game, But was wondering if you go pure str, and lots of hp, how are you ever going to get enough mp to do any special spells attacks or stuff like that?

And I've already used some skill pts on fire for flame body wisdom, alot of the spear/gavie skills, im ice imbue, some on lightning for grass walk flow and that one thing that raises dmage hit for magic (forgot name) and some under force, lvl 17 for revive, Is that too spread out or just keep it that way? I also have the same sp for str and int, Why would it be bad to keep it even?

and this is kinda off topic, but how do you get that thing by yoru display picture that displays your server name, I cant find thta in the gallery, where do you get that?

Ok im a level 7 glaive user.
ive added all my stat points to STR so far.
and i have level 5 glaive/spear mastery and level 6 fire.
i havent added anything to lightning yet.
i accidentaly got the wolfe bite skill in the glaive mastery section.
does this make a difference to how my character will turn out?

it wont make a difference lvl 1 is fine... u can always delvl l8r if u would like to but wat it only costs like 5sp? xD

also another question the guide is quite helpful but it doesnt say how many of those books i should get for each skill in fire mastery and the glaive mastery.
also i have heard you should get level 70 fire level 52 lightning and level 150 galive mastery.
is this true and is it the right wa to go about things?

In my opinion you are thinking too far ahead. At the moment the cap is at 70, in a few days it will be raised to lvl 80. It will even take some time before we are going to lvl 90. So for the time being I would say go for 80 fire 80 glaive 52 lightning. (Rest? Wait for an other cap or use one of other options like cold or more lightning or something else)

im pure str glaive im 42 atm but i have 39 light and 32 fire i was fire main when i started but grasswalk owns so much and my goal is to get the lvl 52 grasswalk where u run basically faster than the horse so i farmed for that a bit thinking about farming to get all my lvls to the same lvl but im lazy. Anyway grasswalk saved me countless times from high lvl hunters and thieves so its a must.

IT IS NOT ALWAYS GOOD TO BE SAVED FROM RUNNING

i agree with the grass walk...but runnning isnt the way 2 fite...why not kill them and run? -.-

I too am fairly new to SRO. I am loving it as it is the first MMORPG that I have tried. I randomly picked and chose skillz not really farming SP started Heuk changed to Bich then I have been putting tons in Path....Force is also all over the board with cold, fire, lighting.....after playing up to lvl 16 as a swordsman.....I can kill champion tigers but yesterday a black tiger put me down in like 3 hits.......I also had a thief smack me and take 6 return scrolls......so I too am going to go back and create a pure strength glav character. I did want to tell the one poster that if you complete NPC quests there are a couple I think that raise MP so you get a little boost there. Thanks for the advice and info here.....now back to lvl 1 and creating my str glav.

Oh and lastly - don't most of the force skillz (FIRE) require INT and where is it coming from if you are straight STR?

I'm level 46, almost 47 Glavie, with about 2950 SP. I am going to to level up my chain to 9, then get the next level chain attack. Which one do you suggest? I heard I should get Shura 'cause it does 78% and 5 attacks. Although it uses about double the MP.

I'm a Pure Str Fire Glavie, just like 90% of you. (it's strong so whatever)

So what should I get, Shura or Nachal chain attack? Also, should I pack out Extreme Fire and get Poison fire right away?

When you level up, it adds 1 to INT everytime no matter what. So your INT doesn't stay so low.

every little # helps, even if it's geared towards int chars, a pure str is still using imbue for the extra dmg, so imo get it along w/ the fire force

Thanks. I started noticing that last night as I started grinding my new STR/Fire Glav. At level 7 and really wanting to use some SP but I am following the plan. I just wish they would stop spawning high level mobs out the west gate so I can get my water turtles....lol. Oh and I have never seen some much thief activity right out front of the main gate as last night. Kinda makes it hard for a new character to progress. Oh, I play on the Troy server btw. Thanks again for all the info found here in this forum. It is making the game much more rewarding. My level 17 blader is all over the place with SP and I think I am going to retire him and give his gold and goods to my new boy.
