Well, if anything the prices will be higher not cheaper, but the quality would be better. And yes the drug dealers would lose some money off of this but most of their money comes from the other drugs, the more expensive ones.
the us government spends around 8 billion dollars to try to stop it lol. so if it was legal we would save that money and decrease the amount of the cartels making. and it would actually financially refresh the us economy believe it or not.

God damn it you are so retarded. You are regurgitating the same argument that I already explained why it isn't true ad nauseum. There will still be cartels for tons of reasons. 1. Weed is a small drug in the cartel business 2. They will still sell it to undercut the government. The reason beer/cigs people don't make themselves is because it's harder to make. Weed people can make easily and undercut the government. With it legalized more people will buy from dealers. 3. When you legalize in Calif and nowhere else, it opens up massive amounts of jurisdiction problems. What if someone brings it to another state, what if drug dealers start opening headquarters in calif under lenient laws. 4. Legalizing weed hides the real problems: working to decriminalize and help people not take drugs, instead of giving up and saying it's ok to take drugs.
