I'll probably play FW with BP and see how it goes, they had a whole bunch of people participating already, but like I have a thing about Perfect world entertainment, they make really crappy games imo, although they promise FW is gonna be different, So I'll stick around and see how the game goes. But like after GW2 is out I think I'm gonna move there instead. I'm not really interested in Rift, because its a paid subscription, and I don't really like that business model, kinda feels like you have to play your money's worth each month.
I havn't decide on a class yet for FW because I know most ppl are gonna play vampire, and I don't wanna be twilightee, but its certainly interesting to see a new class in mmos. And there seems to be no cc class in FW for now.
Yeah I am kinda scared that FW just will be another crappy mmorpg made by those guys, the only game they have really polished and still is their pride is Perfect World, they kinda leave the rest of the games in shadow. I will try it out with my guild and see how it is but honestly I have kinda lost the hype to play it.
I believe FW is going to be awsome because they've been refining every game that's been out since then.
The biggest problem PWE have is their cash shop, they always promise a pure convinience cash shop but sooner or later they release those anniversary packs where you can get imba gear if you're lucky. A friend of mine was in one of the top guilds in Battle of Immortals but got kicked since he didn't have any money that month to buy some shit from the Cash Shop which made your pet alot stronger or what it was. Zodiac something...

I'm not waiting for Forsaken world aswell since I got tired of destroying everyone on Allods.
Never said the game wasn't boring, Allods is a really fun game but when they force the cash shop in your face the spark you had for the game kinda dissapeared.
I never spent any money on the game to get to 40. You can buy incense from people, you can get 100-400 gpotatoe points doing free surveys for 30 minutes.
It's really easy to level up if you have somebody to level with you. It's how I personally got high enough. I also didn't use incense till 25 were I used all my free ones and it got me to 34 were I just bought some incense from people.

Keep in mind that there is a huge difference between NA and EU considering in game economy, NA have always had the larger population which makes the price low, EU has always been low in population, even pre-patch, a bag of crystal chips was sold in AH for 2000G+ while in NA it was around 500G. Last time I was online 21 days incence was sold for over 1500G and 1 day for around 100G. 10 pieces of PoP is sold for 70G. This prices are waaaay to huge for a newcomer to be able to play for free since the gold you earn from quests and grinding isnt even close to these numbers. I think I had 100G when I reached level 35, it was because I bought gpotatoes I had over 4000G for a while.
It all depends on what you want to be tbh, if I were you I would focus most on Lightning and Ice and become a crit mage. I havent played mage that much so I cant give you any help really, but check in this section.
TheKnight wrote:Wait a second, Mages Meditation spell gone!? Now I need to buy MP pots in order to have enough mana? im having HUGE mana problems already...
There is a skill that restore all your hp and mana, but you need to have incence activated to be able to use it, and cost a certain amount if mirrah.
Then a tip IC, read every quest you get to level 10 that got a blue questionmark over it in the quest description very carefully, many of the game mechanics is explained through them that you need to know about.
Yeah it is, you get the buff which increase your damage for free now, also 5 free items that protect you against cursed items each day from a quest + a exp scroll.
The only thing you need to pay for is runes, but you cant buy them from AH since you only need level 4 runes to be able to to any endgame content, so not a big deal.
This addon is really good if you're in a guild, it gives a much cleaner interface and since the orginal interface is rather buggy and dont update if somone is online/offline until you log out, this one is alot better since it updates regularly
