I would like to add that while you can't summon a wolf that is a higher level than you. A wolf that is the same level as you will not surpass you. He'll level up to 99.9% the levels exp then it'll be capped at that until you reach the next level. Then he'll be able to level up.

If you're considering getting a wolf, do it, especially if you tend to grind at lower levels without any magic. The wolf will be more powerful than you (if he's at the same level as you), will regenerate HP faster, and will be able to take more of a beating while saving you potions (unless you're grinding vs orange/red, then you'll have to feed the wolf horse pills quite often to keep him alive).

Having a wolf is like controlling an extra character.

Wolves do not have their own inventories.

That said, it costs 50K to revive a wolf and HGP potions are 2K to restore a mere fraction of the HGP meter. Until you can easily afford this, don't take the wolf to any spots that are too easy (no exp) or too hard (might die) and only use him to aid you in combat (so he'll level and you don't have to use expensive HGP potion).

His HP and HGP will be restored to 100% upon him leveling.

My questions are:

Can a grey wolf be dropped if you're killed by a thief?
Can a white wolf be dropped if you're killed by a thief?

My speculation is that a grey wolf can be stolen, but a white one can not (non-tradable item). Has anyone had their wolves stolen?

Wolves, of any type, won't drop. Someone tried dropping a grey wolve and they say it is undisposable...or something like that
Guild Hatred is recruiting lvl 20+ people. Please go to Guild: Alps to check on Hatred.

I've heard somewhere that if you leave your wolf dead for 5+ days (real life days), it becomes an undead one.
Any confirmation on this?

As long as you are not cape fighting and the other player and yourself are above level 19. Then you can either job with them or murder/defend yourself.

A: Yes, they can be traded/bought already lelved higher than you, but cannot be summoned until you reach the specific level of the wolf.

Q: Can my wolf become a higher level than me?
A: No, they can level until they reach 99.99% pet experience of the level equal to yours. They will start leveling again as soon as you surpass them in level. They can be traded/bought already leveled higher than you, but cannot be summoned until you reach the specific level of the wolf.

I am guessing that is because they do not get mana points, their points when they level all go to HP.

Q: What levels do the wolf change appearance? I am a first time pet owner and just got a level 20 wolf and it looks uber cute and packs a punch, i am 2 levels higher than it by the way. ^_^ When will it grow into the big adult one?

Any pics of the different stages of appearance please???

what is the difference between wolf and hawk?
well they both do a normal physical damage that u would do,
a hawks attack is the attacks you would do if u were not to do a skill
a hawk flies, a wolf doesnt
a wolf, stays on ground a hawk doesnt
wolf is permanent, hawk is in a time limit

how come my white hawk cant attack?
u need a black hawk to make your hawk attack

I thought the maximum number of players in party(share exp) was only 8.. Did they change this?

Also, isn't the 20% increase in EXP only apply to parties with EXP Distribution where the maximum number of players in the party is 4?

maximum patrty member in XP share is 8 and gives out a 20% xp bonus if full and all in the same area.

Xp distribution has a maximum of 4 players in a party and gives 10% of Xp bonus without any range for players, which means one could be in hotan, two in donwhang and one in jangan, they'll all get 10% bonus XP thanks to the distribution party

If you're in an exp share party the exp of each monster killed will be divided between the number of players in the party, so you actually get less exp.

Maybe it's because of the hunger? If your wolf has less of 30% HGP its stats are halved
