do you play the game through steam? at least you said you played the pc version right? it could be steam banned you from playing mw2 because you were using dedicated servers. at least i think thats what you were using

nope, no steam.
I just get some error: 0xc0000018 or something like that. but steam can't ban me, considering I don't have a steam account to begin with. And the client has been completely modded to not rely on steam afaik.

I mean, CoD 4 and W@W are still going with some communities, but like now i only see maybe 2k people in TDM and thats the biggest lobby, with others not breaking 1K apart from HC TDM

but when you mention that the official version only has 2k people in tdm... Even the version I play has about 3k people there xD, Maybe be even 5k?? Maybe they all fled here since it has better support: deddies are fully online, and hackers get banned more + there's a console and some protection against noobtubing (though I don't like this last part ).

it does sound a lot more attractive, don't it?

I tried mw1 at a friend, and I like mw2 better honestly. but WaW is defintely better than both. although I'm finding it hard to imagine what the multiplayer of WaW is like.

MW2 is a better game in a way.. but it has too many things which annoy you (eg commando). I think most people who played MW2 first would prefer it.. simply cause there's so much more to it (and its newer).

But for those who played cod4 first.. its just annoying.

WaW had a great multiplayer. It woulda been my favourite if it didnt have such annoying spawn points and so many glitches. But it kinda died on xbox as soon as mw2 came out.

Haha, me and a friend from my clan were both playing for nukes tonight.
She got one nuke, next match i got to 24 (all regular TDM's btw).
Match after she gets to 23, then i get to 23 the one after that and to 24 the one after that and 24 ONCE again after that >.<

Honestly, ratio was 37/3 with 8 assists >.<

It won't be gone =\ I've been quickscoped and have quickscoped without SOH. I always did private matches with no perks on at all. Not a huge difference.

Well isn't aim assist disabled for PC? and there are still people quick scoping.

i wouldn't say i quick scope i kinda am in between hard/quick scoping. i just kinda predict where someone is going to be and line up my sights for a second.

Yeah I dragscope more, seems to work better for me to scope up -> move crosshair on the body -> shoot then to aim at the guy -> scope up -> shoot. lol >.< We'll see how it goes in BO xD

Pc doesnt have aim assist (which is good imo).

I often enough get a couple of pure quikscopes, where you only see the scope as i shoot.
But i basicly only do that if im nearly sure it'll hit, i dont mind drag scoping / hardscoping etc.

Black ops should be a challenge i guess.

Wtf is this shit? FFA only takes 10 wins for the challenge, despite being one of the shortest game modes, meanwhile Sabotage, the longest on average, takes 50... IW needs to get off of the crack or whatever else they are smoking. How many does SnD take overall?

I found the best way to let off some steam after being noob tubed a whole game. noob tube them back with danger close and one man army. I don't care if it makes me an ahole it feels nice making them feel the pain. 22/6 with pure nubbing lol

I realize this game is about to die whenever Black Ops comes out. Regardless, I just started and wonder why people prestige so much. I get that you can have extra classes, but are there any other perks? Do/would you really use/need all those extra classes if you ever reached 10th prestige?

i needed/appreciated them. plus prestiging kept the game a bit more interesting, working towards a goal/seeing the progress while playing > just playing. imo at least.

Yep, twice I said I would stay 70 but I always prestige after a while. I just hate getting 10k challenges and not seeing that exp bar going up. They said there will be more rewards in prestiging with black ops. Lets hope it's actually worth it.

Oh and I got an ace today aaaand a 5in1 pred haha. Ps3 is fun

Just sold my copy of MW2 at gamestop. So happy to get rid of that game lol.


EDIT: To add...I think one of my better memories of mw2 was going 23-3 on a Search and Destroy match. I also loved the AC130 more than anything in that game.

This thread has dominated the Other games section for a very long time. It is going to be sad to see less people posting in here, but I am more than happy for BO to come out. I am just annoyed that I am going to have to wait about a month to actually play it.
