I went against a platinum player and survived 16 minutes.
I could have beaten him if he didn't have fast mutas.
I also went against two gold leaguers and beat the one after another.

Why am I still in the bronze pool??

I only play against diamond people and I'm in plat =(
I keep taking long breaks from the game, coming back and getting owned because I'm rusty. Sux

Anyway you'll update eventually, doesn't happen instantly to prevent fluke wins from upping you.

been watching the sc2 stream from mlg this weekend and it got me pretty interested in this game. question, is there any kind of ranking/ladder system built in? or is there 3rd party sites etc.

It's all built in, but finding who's where on the ladder is 10x easier using a site.

I are getting Starcraft II for my bday
Ok, I want to be super uber at this game , i never played SC1 but I've always been good at strategy games, and I have a high aps (i think lol).
So, how should I start learning the ropes etc. My friends tell me to not do campaign first, because they have units I won't use online (where it counts! )
Any videos? Tutorials? Etc. that i can watch that helped you learn or something?

Actually if you know how to adapt some of the guides on teamliquid are good for the build order layout. I don't want to spend time perfecting a build order if someone else will for me.

Liquidpedia is good, but the strat forums are not.

I tried to watch a day9 video and just got really annoyed. Don't like his casting style. I'd rather watch HDSC and look at what the pros do.
