Monster summon scroll

I got a monster summon scroll a long time ago, and Im wondering what exactly it does other than "spawns a dangerously powerful monster"

do I control the monster's movements, or can it do whatever the F it wants?

if I can control it, I might use it next time some thief is 1* popping

You cant control it, and it won't work till the next event. Just spawns some big mobs.

Yeah i also got one... and how do I know when next event is?? A guy said he used them yesterday and they worked perfectly but not today?

And wtf do u even get them... i got one for free... ^^

I've never seen these scrolls before. However, one day I had a stall up trying to sell a lvl 4 challenge stone. A player came in and offered to trade a monster scroll for my stone. I turned him down because the way he was talking, he was just trying to scam me. Basically he told me to use the scroll out away from town where there are no other players, kill the summoned monster and I'll get a "ton of money"

I wasn't buying his story at all, but that's the first I even heard of a monster scroll.
