FYI:

Semi-Formal is a blazer and trousers (suit). Formal is a tuxedo. Business Casual is trousers with a collared shirt.

Unbuttoned collared shirt with a t-shirt and a rubber/material wrist band watch = casual.

I go to a Maritime Academy, so my daily wear is the same as a Naval Officer's.

Spoiler!

Full Formal (Dress Blues):

When I don't have to be in uniform, it's whatever is comfortable (college ftw). So right now, shorts and a t-shirt. When it's colder, jeans, t-shirt, and a hoodie.

@dom:

Lol thanks. Still kinda' confused though. =p

Was never really that sure how the terms worked except if it says "formal," I usually go in with a suit or at least a sort of business casual I guess. More or less, buttoned shirt with collar, top 4 buttons open, white brand shirt inside (usually CKs), "rolled" sleeves, leather watch. Blah....

I enjoy my Blazer (or light material blazer) + V neck shirts OR Sweater (or jacket) + checkered scarf during the fall. Goddamn this thread makes me feel like shopping. Now I have no idea what I wanna' spend my money on.

Camera stuff, clothing, a new pair of shoes, a nice watch, or more vacation money.... :banghead:

Tomorrow i'm going to buy some clothes. I have 2x $40 or 50 (don't remember) gift certificates.

I quit my job and started a new one. Next week I get my paycheque + my extra week from my old job + holiday pay from my old job. Going to spend some of that money tomorrow.

Going shopping tomorrow.

Wishlist: new jeans/other fabric pants
3 Meter scarf in either gray or black, but I think black cuz I already have a grey/charcoal one. (I love them so much!)
Bunch of long sleeve v-neck shirts, preferrably white gray and black.
Maybe I'll run across some bling, yo.
And shoes.

I've got +/- €100 + €20 gift certificate. to spend, so that'll be some budget shopping...

I'll wait for either Columbus day sale or take a trip to some outlets upstate or in Jersey. Bought 3 pairs of straight-cut pants for like $15 each (original price $50) and some other shit for 30%-70% off last time I went to some factory outlets.

Lol. Never heard of that store. Probably a crappy selection of what they consider to be "Manhattan" style clothing.

Yeah, there's a mall 10 minutes away from my place. I went there about 2 weeks ago to pick up a nice grey canvas backpack. Urban Outfitters is kind of a rip-off but fuck it, I like the design.

I saw some nice V-necks on H&M for about $12 each. I might drop by to buy 2 or 3 pieces. I really need some new sweaters/light jackets though. I got a crapload in my closet but for some reason, I'm never satisfied unless I buy new ones every season. =(

I went a little over board this summer with shopping. Everyday I had a 15 minute lunch break and everyday I came back with shoes, tees, jeans, shorts..

And most of them aren't even wearable during the winter unless I find a fuckload of cheap vests and cardigans tomorrow.

And the New Yorker is just a store with a load of cheapass clothes with a constant sale, but it was a mess in that store. Couldn't find shit. You're a lucky bastard if you can find anything that actually fits in that place... Ugh..

The ones in the Czech Republic are a load neater.

I should specify and contribute, because <3 Doron.

Anyway.

Casual wear: Cargo shorts, usually a polo or tee, nikes/flip flops depending on weather, fitted hat
Around the house wear: basketball shorts, tee, mocs/slippers/uggs.
semi-formal: decent dress pants, collared button down usually untucked, dress shoes
formal wear: the works. dress pants, dress shoes, collared shirt, tie
Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes.

I dress because I have to. Sure I have my limits but overall I don't really care from where my clothes come and they don't have to fit perfectly together either.

I have that black "chemise" nikka (although mine is a bit grayer). What a coincidence though because I also went shopping today(at West Edmonton Mall, think it's one of the biggest mall in NA) and I also bought a scarf (not a Shemag this time) :yay:

Yeah I know terrorist wear it, but now it's also a fashion accessory in North America. Plus, it's not attributed to terrorists, shemaghs where always used by people in the Middle East. How you wear it makes all the difference :P

I believe they're a bit out this season in the NL.

But I'll have to wait till the scarfs actually come out again :D

And curve, what was that giant rainbow circle supposed to be?

Oh, and vietboy, I think the prices differ a dollar or 1~3 from the euro prices I listed.

Nothing is ever out-of-fashion. It all depends on when and how you wear it. =)
