Here's something many people skip over.
XP rates are 1x for 60 cap(this could be subject to change), they will be increased over caps, how frequently and how much is undetermined.

If/when doom can get the Premium / GT to work work properly, it will give you double the XP/SP, unlike the other pservers.
2x(for example) becomes 4x, not 3x like it would with other psevers.
Once the XP rate is taken over 1x, leveling speed will skyrocket with a ticket.

Personally I am alright with 1x rates at lower caps, 90 cap + is where grinding is tedious.
doom could even set the mob spawns to high, which might I add is insane!
Every bit of the map looks like the Ong plvling spots in Sama, mobs crammed everywhere ready to die by splash.

Even thought the 1x is a tad bit low, I am still very pleased. If NPC gets the premium to work, I'd definitely buy silk.
If the mob spawns are set to high, I'd cry like a sissy. I hate it how I'm always supposed to look for a nice spot to grind, and when I've found one, a bot always comes running in. ;_;
But of course, we don't have to worry about bots. :>

I remember when he had the spawn on high and I used a Reverse to check out Alexandria... *loads area* O____O <- My reaction
I could see about 20+ giants from standing in 1 spot and a ton of others.

Not quite sure how the sever would handle high mob spawns and a full server, though.
That could always be tested in OB, when it's up I'll ask npcdoom about it.

maybe find a happy medium on the spawn rate. or if spawn rate can be determined in individual areas just compensate where needed.

being able to get the best sro used to have is just amazing

even with bugs, it's still great, we will all work towards the improvement of this server/community



grinding and being able to chat with whoever is with you

Now, don't get me wrong! I'm seriously looking extremely much forward to this server and I'll definitely buy silk too. BUT it's darn over-hyped, lol. It's not like everything is gonna work from day one. And it's not like there will not be bot attempts. Actually, I'm pretty sure that people will be standing in queue to make the best bot for the server. No matter how the good the anti-bot security is, it can never be 100% prevented.

Just... calm down guys, this is getting hyped way too much!

btw. I don't know which guild to join either. I'll go with Lobie I guess The best thing, as lots of you already mentioned, would be to have ONE srf guild though.

This is my last post on SRF, if you need anything I'll be on Steam or Zelos forums/IRC.

ltsune, You're right, there will be people trying to make a bot / get one to work during OB, I'm 100% sure of this.
If the team can keep the security updated that it will keep the majority of the bots out.
I'm sure the team will also come up with something to report bots immediately when they're found.

Knowing epvp's community they will just post whatever bots there are for Zelos openly for everybody to see, including every time they update it. That allows the Zelos staff to take care of that particular bot a bit easier, or so in theory.
