I'm sorry, but those 3(fly/nightbloom/mini-fly) were probably the most annoying people on Xian(this was before Turkish invasion). I think most people on the server were happy they left, and the ones that weren't happy, went with them.

Just gonna throw a few names out to see if they ring some bells.

I remember starting my first two-handed warrior at Xian after I saw Evilsomethiing (might be Dro? Can't remember if he was a warrior, really)grinding at taklamakan, hitting just as much as i did with my nukes (I was a pure int nuker).

Fly? Known that guy since venus started. Joined venus to help them create a legit-dominate server. Got the best MMO gaming experience there. Had the most fun. Became the core Avalon members and war officer that held the fort for 2 years. He's a great commander and leader. He doesnt need to be the best since he's leading the best players in venus. Always among the last core members to capped. :p

Of course when u're on the other side, u will only see bad things about him. Nobody can blame u for that. It's ur own opinion. But for me, he's great at leading the best community of legits in SRO and not to mention the biggest. But remember 1 thing, the success in venus before was not done by him and NB only, it was a success because of the legit community that worked together to achieve the same goal. For all ex Venus players, u guys are the best. I'm thankful to play alongside u guys.

Overly strict ruling, bullshit about sharing the fort with the whole legit community though tbh that dont bother me too much but was one thing said i thought id bring up. i knew him before venus he was a sound guy on venus he might have stood for the right things but in the process became a hypocrit and punished those who where like he was on xian im sorry but that aint right at all and dont float well with me he should have stuck to been legit but less hypocritical about seeing as he has had a lot of ties with botters in the past, nightbloom really annoys me for similar reasons. fighting the bots was a just cause but looking back on the game i wish i was a botter things would have been more fun less stress of having to constantly battle with the botters, constant ks, uniques killed by fully farmed bots all the things i enjoyed where controled by bots iv quit now so it dont really matter and for the most part i stood up nd did the right thing one point suddendeath on xian was the strongest guild on the server not many people know about that back when bambski and sean where leading it, sean now inactive and bambski lost any control of suddendeath so now its a dead guild on that server with no way to revive

Well, the nuker I mentioned above was called HockeyRulez but it wasn't originally my char, I received it from a friend.

My warriors name was FighterSune and I played in 420 most of the time.
Also had an archer called Desire (or something like that, it's quite some time ago).

Most of rules in legions are same, so theres nothing laugh about. If you haven't played aion i shortly brief you: Botting isn't worth. Thats why they promotin almost fair play.

Yeah the old days were good. I remember there were so many allstars in Xian, I was just some random noob trying to catch up lol. Grinded like a mad man to level 66 and then the 80 cap came.. boooo..
The global flame wars and drama were so entertaining to read while grinding away your 3 hour gold ticket lol. I didn't see anyone mention LHX.

I also remember back in the day in Xian there was like an almost 24/7 (exahgerated) 1 star trade group with a char called 'LoveLollies" or something leading/guarding it from npc thieves, while all traders were on trace.

It's cool that this forum is still running, it's a testament to how great SRO once was. I was reading through the earlier forum posts, a piece of SRO history right there.

You call them hypocrites but I'm not sure you know what the word means. Are you saying that Fly did not believe that botting was going to kill SRO? Are you saying that despite saying botting is bad he secretly thought it was a wonderful idea? Are people formerly exposed to smoking who then become anti-smoking advocates really just hypocrites? lol

I don't think anyone who was actually in Avalon in Venus questions the motives behind the whole idea. From the outside, it is easy to judge.

See, Fly is a funny fellow. He has a great sense of humor and is a friendly, personable guy. He does however have this one quirk. If he adds someone to the legion and they have a weird voice in Vent, he kicks them. Elf_Daniel was one of those people. Had a bit of a lateral lisp with a light southern accent if I remember rightly. Fly kicked him pretty suddenly and Elf_Daniel begged to be told why. Of course, you can imagine how harsh it would be to be told you were kicked cause you sound somewhat like a vaguely gay redneck.

And another Avalon fan was born. Was it fair? Sure, Elf hates us for a good reason. lol It's still kinda funny though.

I don't think it was my memory failing, it looks like it's you that wants to rewrite history. If I recall correctly, it was fly(the same guy who dropped out of college to play SRO) that sounds like a kid that doesn't know how to open his mouth when he speaks, with a touch of homosexuality in there. Also he was the same person that was having cyber-sex with a woman that sounds like she's choked on one too many--- well you get my point, she has a pretty annoying voice. Also... He was the one that had a little neighbor boy come over to his house everyday to play video games with him... Damn I could go on.. but it wouldn't matter.

Actually what happen was... Elf got stripped, I made a build I actually wanted and joined dEranged. Never even asked TheEmpire a damn thing after that.
