Back on topic, I'm surprised how many people don't eat breakfast. I'm no nutritionist, so correct me if I'm wrong, but overnight your metabolism slows down dramatically, due to a lack of food you have consumed over the hours. Breakfast, being a meal you eat before you begin your daily activities, helps to boost your metabolism again and return it to it's normal levels, which in effect helps you to burn off more energy during the day.
Correct me id I'm wrong of course, but this is what I have always gone by. Seems like a good idea to have a structured breakfast, imo.
Its important, thats why you see alot of people who work out eat immidiatly after they wake up. The 8~ hours you sleep, your body doesnt intake anything ( obviously ) so when you are up and active, your body hungers for all its needs; and when it doesnt get what it needs, it starts breaking down your musclez in substitute. so basically, eating is good.
But this thread is based on morning foods, so this isnt a nutritional thread and im not going to blabber about metabolism and other things
