wow I feel stupid asking this but for some reason I just cant remember the term for this. I tried google and I cant find it.
the definition is like basically the colonies purpose is to serve the mother country, and the mother country exploits the colonies.
Whats the term for it??? I just cant seem to remember it.

yes thats what I thought it was mercantilism...however none of the definitions exactly match up with the one I know.
