23.000 dolphins are being killed in this place in japan a year...
Cute, smart, harmless animals that have saved human lives before, are being massacred for food, food that is already contamined by mercurium, and is given to little kids in japan!

I saw this documental today (Acadamey award winner, as best documentary feature 2010) about it, it really touched me! its deep and intense...

If they killed them in more ethical ways I wouldn't have a problem with it. And as not to kill them off either.

Doesn't even taste good.

I never got the point of eating "exotic" animals if they only "taste like chicken."

They eat, puppies, kittens, worms, "exotic" things in general, lets not pretend to be shocked. I feel is quite unfortunate for dolphins as they are one of the coolest animals in the sea but that doesnt mean people arent allowed to feed on them and if we overfish them we will pay the price, as simply as that. Don't blame the fishermen, blame what drives them to do the fishing.
