i find that the worst part about this is that he was killed by another car. it's not a pretty site when two cars collide (often you get pulverized and theres no identifiable features). but life goes on...

You pose a simple question to us: Why? Why should an innocent person die whilst the "drug influenced" drivers survive (only two survived, but none the less)? I will answer your question with my own question, why the hell shouldn't they die?

I'll let you in on a little secret, it's much better to learn it early in life than later on. Hell, a lot of people wlll never learn this lesson. It simply is: life isn't fair. Simple as that. It doesn't matter if your nice or mean, evil or good, if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time then your dead. Karma won't save you, a deity won't save you, your just dead. That's all there is to it. There's no right and wrong, no morality involved, just bad luck. Deal with it and move on.

If your in the wrong situation at the wrong time, you'll die. Or maybe not, maybe you will just be hurt. Or maybe you will get mugged. Maybe someone will bump into you, you drop your new born baby and it dies. It has nothing to do with morality, it's just life. Wrong place at the wrong time. Should an innocent man deserve to die for no reason? No, but it happens Why? Because that's life. Does a drug induced person deserve to die more than an innocent one? Some argue yes, some argue no. Life doesn't argue, it doesn't care. What happens, happens. Evaluate, safeguard, adapt, persevere. You can hold onto idealistic delusions, but they won't get you anywhere. It's much better to simply face the truth and live your life to the fullest while you still have the chance.
