What's the newest server and tech question

Post by iscared »

What's the newest server? Since servers are easy to access now I wanna make a warlock.

Also when I played before I would experience like a 1 second lag between skills. I know it's not my connection or something due to me having perfect ping in every other game. Does anyone know how to resolve it so when I use for example my power shot it doesn't take a second to actually start casting?

thanks

Caspian... and how about you reinstall the game and let us know if you still have that issue rather then telling us an old issue you had...

It is the connection. I bet that "in every other game" you're not connecting to servers in Korea.

I got a 100/100Mbit line at home, and I still get the (expected) high latency.

the latency is high but it gets worse when you have P2P programs running in the background (µtorrent comes to mind).
it is quite alright when nothing adds to it.
Also i had to reboot my router today to fix an unusually high latency.

I've noticed that i am getting a large amounts of packetloss about 7% out of 200 packets sent. This isn't part of a connection problem more of a routing problem between hops. Because Joymax blocks most most ping or tracert attempts to the server it becomes hard to locate the problem.

The lag spikes will mostly start in small crowds of people i usually don't get it as often if am alone. Because am not in North America anymore i can't tell if they have the same problem considering their hops go from NY to Sanjose CA then over to Korea. As Europe which seems to be having the most problems goes from UK, Germany, Somewhere in Asia then Korea. I'd rather be routed the otherway if i could.

Been extreme like this for the past month i even had my connection upgraded for free and changed from interleaving to fastpath.

Joymax can monitor connectivity issues from CA but not from EU so we are screwed. I don't really see any other fix unless Joymax intervene.
