NEVER, I repeat NEVER save gift cards. Shit will expire/lose value with little to no notice. Just use it as soon as you get it. My GF won 200$ gift card at a grand opening of a clothing store. She decided to save it since nothing in the store suit her style. 6 months later, store ownership declared bankruptcy and got bought over by Gap i think so the card became worthless.

Only time you save a gift card is if you plan on selling it in 100 years as an antique.
