World's best countries

Post by LillDev!l »

Newsweek made a graph of 'the world's best countries'.
Kinda interesting, check out where your country is ^^

Netherlands, nr 8 : avarage of 19,7 years of schooling
Pretty good.
I allreaddy figured the scandinavian countries would be at the top though :P.

From one of the commenters saying that this article is useless:

Ismail Mechbal
Living in developed countries doesn't mean happiness, let compare for instance Finland and Morocco, number 1 and number 67 respectively, eventough the education is much better, the quality of life is nothing to compare to Morocco, we still can see that the rate of homicide is double in Finland than in Morocco, 2.2 homicides per 100,000 in Finland vs 1.1 homicides per 100,000 in Morocco.
6 truths
1.You cannot touch all your teeth with your tongue.
2.All idiots, after reading truth 1, will try it.
3.And discover that the first truth is a lie.
4.You're smiling now because you're an idiot.
5.You soon will forward this to another idiot.
6.There's still a stupid smile on your face.

I wonder of the women of Morocco agree with the higher 'life quality' Morocco offers ^^
If i could Choose, i'dd surely rather live in Finland.

Ofcource living in a developed country doesnt mean happiness, nothing 'means' happiness.
Happiness is to personal and subjective to measure by standards like that.
Im sure there are people who are just as happy living in an african tribe than in a well developed country, just because they dont know better anyhow.

thats lol worthy, just because homicide rate is slightly higher doesn't mean quality of life would be worse.

Australia even in the top 10? Well now you know that the list is fake.

Never liked how USA is put as a whole on lists. Every state is so different that it might as well be its own country.

This. For sure they didn't take in suicide rate in accountance, because in Japan, China and Korea the suicide rates are immense.

There's so much pressure put on Asian kids, and when they fail at it they keep it a secret and commit suicide in some public bathroom like at subway stations out of shame for their own failure.

If suice rate was taken in accountance, I think that Japan would be a lot lower in that list.

Also surprised at Kazachstan being in there.
Yay for NL, US, JP and KR though.

And Cuba's Education surprises me kinda.. dunno why though. 'Dem Cubans are miracle workers when it comes to crimes, maybe they learn that?

I don't get how america's economic dynamism is #2, our economy is awful right now.

Tasdik wrote:

its because those countries have always had amazing healthcare and worker benefits compared to other countries.

BloodyBlade wrote:Japan at 9? Suprises me tbh.

lol did you expect it to be like 2? I like how we americans have this dreamy view of japan like its some kind of wonderland. Japan is a nice place but its going to get worse, ugly national debt and decreasing population. and add to that japan as an island is slowly sinking into the sea.

our economy has been aweful since we dropped the gold standard and adopted worthless pieces of paper as our means or currency. right now our economy doesnt exist. look at the voluntary gold confiscation going on. "send us your gold, well give you some worthless pieces of paper!"
and i think he meant that 9 was a little high for japan.
