so today i learned of cannon rushing but it doesnt always work, i played 3 vs 3 pc's and i was wondering if cannon rushing is good for 1 vs 1?

yesterday I got completely owned lol, you know that map with the little flying ships that roam around? well I always jump in my chair when I see them thinking they are enemies, but after like 3 minutes I got used to them so I stopped playing attention, and I'm guessing this other guy just walked into my base and I saw him but since he vanished I taught it must've been one of the ships... So few minutes later few marines come up from inside my base aswell as a scv who starts building a bunker near my nexus, I was like WTF WHERE- HOW- FUUUUUU, I was going for the void rush and I didn't have many troops, just like three zealots which he killed, so it was an easy win for him... what happened was that he went into an area of my base I had no vision off and build some barracks and I felt really retarded because I was thinking of building a pylon in that area but I was to lazy to do it lol

So yeah, always get vision over your entire base

The map where you have a secure natural with destructible rocks behind your main? Toss always hides pylons there with their scouting probe and warp units in, but I guess learning that lesson comes from experience :p

Cannon rushes are sometimes good. They're terrible against terran, marauders rape cannons like no other. Also bad against 1 base zergs as spine crawlers kill infinite cannons so you can never get cannons close enough. Pretty good against toss and FE zerg if you place your cannons right.

Yeah that one. In another game I had a pylon in my base (found it in the replay) but he got me with the void rays before he warped in

shit I think I'm done with 1v1s, atm the only way I win is if the other guy is a bad player, and it feels really bad to rely on the other player's inexperience to win <_<

btw I ragequit when this guy got a bunch of marines and marauders with concussion shells and he just slowed my zealtos and ran away.. wtf how can I counter that? I was still building my void rays when he did that

ive been watching a stream all day on ragequit.tv and they did a KOTH match and so anyone could sign up so i did and i got in the second game and played a diamond player, to say the least i lost but i lost to 1,000 or so viewers watching haha

Just completed the 1v1 placement matches and i got ranked
in the gold league. Im getting uterly owned its ridiculous

And I just hit 2k achievement points
