Great track, 2008 was my first visit to a q-dance event actually.

I'll post some of my fav hardstyle tracks :)

Rather boring buildup. But the qlimax is repetitive but just so awesome.

I'm looking for 1 specific track, maybe you guys can help me? Jantje in particular cuz he's a dutch hardstylecow 8) It's a track roughly 2 years old, and the buildup i thought was rather boring and repetitive. The chorus however, is really awesome. It's not reversed like alot of the tracks are from 2 years ago, but the chorus is JUST melodic, and it sounds mostly like water drops falling on different tones. Not actual water drops, but very similar on the way the tone changes. The actual sound I'd describe as "dling!" with a tad bit of a high tone to it which goes up and down. It might be from dutch origin, but I've checked most dutch hardstyle djs and can't find it.

Halp pls :( I REALLY need that song, I often am in this situation and i never stop looking until I got it :sohappy:

I asked on an other forum and they came up with this song:

Code: Select all

I think it's pretty close to your description, tell me if this is the track your looking for.

Every-time i see a reply, i think someone has posted something in relation to the bellow :(

Key-J wrote:So,

since i know we have a bunch of fellow Latinos on here, i was wondering if they could do me a little Favor.

My music has always been Mainstream English, i haven't really embraced my Latino Side, well be it that i share my time between Canada and Indonesia, i've been away from S.America long enough to kinda loose touch, but anyway lately i've been getting a little more into my roots, and i've been finding a bunch of Spanish/Latin music to enjoy, and i reallise i really enjoy it, anyway someone introduced me to Juan Magan the other day, and i downloaded some of his songs, and i was wondering if some of you guys had some good Latino/Spanish trance/techno/dance/remixes that you think are def worth a listen.

Many thanks.

As for my Votes on Top DJ.

Spoiler!

I would have thrown Benny B in there, but his concert in Kelowna made me angry at him, and i moved Above and Beyond down because of the Concert in Indonesia, which made me angry :P

I went by what the Parameters were, and looking back over the year, the most times that my "world has been rocked" when a DJ was playing, David Guetta, or one of his mixes would be it. 8)

Nope that's not it. I guess it's a pretty accurate track from from my description, but it's not real "raindrops" its a similar sound. It's an OK track, just a tiny bit less popular than the mainstream stuff, it was played on FearFM quite a bit (you must know it?). It might be from dutch origin, i'm not 100% sure though. I guess my description kinda fails. The drops however, that I am talking about, represent the beat in the tune. Whereas in your tune, they are on the background if you know what I mean?

EDIT: I just remembered something. The track I watched was a live version on some event, and if I remember correctly, the DJ was bald? Forget about the raindrops. It kinda doesn't make sense. It's just really hard to explain a hardstyle track :(
EDIT3: I just remembered some more; The DJ was bald i'm quite sure, and he has a "heavy" figure. Not fat, just quite a big figure. Also, the live verison I saw on youtube was filmed with a professional camera from up high going around above the crowd. So it's not fan-filmed.
Help please :P

Try post this on there too please I'd really love to find that track again :) I've spent so many hours on youtube trying to find it. I know it's there, and it's a really good track. Just hard to find.

edit2: found this track, which is a BEAST^ Code: Select all

Oke by your DJ discription I think you mean Frontliner, but here's another suggestion:

Code: Select all

And about that movie, you think it was an aftermovie from a big festival?
His track was used in the preview trailer from Decibel 2009, track was named Frontliner - Sunblast.
Frontliner:
Image
Zany:
Image

Or your wrong and it's a Italian track, because Tatanka matches pretty well with your description:
Image

About that Kingdom track, it's good but The Pitcher made a remix recently which I prefer:

Code: Select all

And the Harcore version, from which D-Block & S-te-Fan ripped it.

Code: Select all

PS, most DJ's are bald :P
And again, where there any lyrics in it?

@ Jantje,

no thats not it :( we are getting closer, though. that track i actually thought that was it. the first 15 seconds, that melody, it sounds VERY close. the track we're looking for its just a bit slower. also in that track you posted, the chorus also contains bass. track im looking for only has that melodic part in the chorus, like the track you suggested has in the beginning.

im quite sure it wasn't an aftermovie because he played the whole track. also, its not as popular if i remember correctly. its not played (much) at events. btw ive been to most of the events in holland/belgium/germany in the last few years, and i dont think i heard it more than once or twice.

i just had another one of these memories, thinking the track was called "loop" or somethin like that. or something with "time", either way the name is something catchy, not common (as are most hardstyle tracks :/ ).

my memory says zany looks closest, im looking through more of his tracks atm.

im not gonna rest easy until i get my hands on that track. :P

If you first thought the track I posted was the track your looking for then there's a big chance your looking for a Frontliner track. He definitly has his own sound. So, few more suggestions, from which I think either Spacer or Sunblast is your song. Both were populair tracks who, especially Spacer which was ranked #1 in the FearFM top 100 in 2008.

I've looked through all of frontliners tracks. I already knew all of his tracks.

I appreciate your effort dude. It's a less popular song. Not mainstream like frontliner.

He does have his own style though, you sure are right about that. And yeah the track I'm looking for has its own style too but i'ts not by frontliner.

I wonder, can anyone here shuffle? I've always wanted to learn, but I'm not sure if I could put myself out there like that lol.

I also always find myself watching the girls shuffle videos. Sometimes they seem like they do it better than most guys. I find it fucking hot for some reason.

In Holland we piss on shufflers, they are like the gingers. Everyone laughs at them.

Also @Twysta;
From the other forum:
Code: Select all
He read your post on this forum, and he suggested this song.
Credits go to Timothy21, if he reads this. :P
If this is not the song I suggest you go to http://www.hardtraxx.nl/forum/algemeen/ ... 7-520.html register and then explain it in Dutch.

Unfortunately that's not it. But again, close. I think we're gonna get there.
The chorus in the track you posted is quite "fast". The melody is quite paced.

The track I'm searching it's quite a bit slower. It's supposed to be a real touching part, a part that should give you shivers. After the chorus, that melody extends into the next part of the track where bass is added. I know this isn't much, but we'll get there :D

fact: It's from BEFORE 2008, for sure. I'm looking at 2007 hardstyle mix clips on youtube made by people. Probably most chance that way.
I think that the track title is a single word. Not 100% on this though.
I also remember really well, that the stage of that live-version i saw, was quite a bit above the crowd, quite a few meters. Still a stage, in front of the crowd, but up a little.
