Current state of Aion isn't really as bad as it seems if you're an Asmo.
Asmos on most servers should have no trouble finding PvP so you can work towards the 30 or 40 AP gear. Both are sufficient endgame sets depending on your class.
However, if you're Asmo and want to take a fort, you should probably quit now. Not going to happen.
Aion isn't really going to have any competition this year so they can afford to mess around since most of the customers lost could potentially come back for a future patch. 1.9 brought back a lot of players and it didn't really add anything other than fix Dredgion and make Adma worth running.
FFXIV? I been hearing a lot of bad things about that game and I don't think the PvE is going to interest the WoW generation of MMO players. Not to mention that the game has very steep system requirements.

What are they doing? Try to turn Crysis into an MMO(It looks no where near as good as Crysis)?
They really got some optimization they need to do but they probably won't do much about it.
Regardless, Aion will probably be fine for the rest of year and probably have enough content that all is needed from NCSoftWest is to stay out the way.

Into the merge I thought I could easily play the economy but..everything was priced retardedly low compared to my server. Potions of the same kind go for 1k each now leaving very little room for profit unless I go and collect the shit needed..

Farm bloods in dredg, DC, and hoarfrost.
Aren't you a sin? Farming mobs in Brusthonin should be a good source of income. Preferably the zombies on the path to Adma.

Did my first DP run today, now I have a nice 500k bill for xp recovery. Useless cleric and chanter..didn't even get past the 3 bugs.
My first run took the entire 4 hours thanks to a shitty glad. He kept AoEing when we said not to, pulling mobs when the tank already did, and making agro go crazy. Since I'm the cleric I usually have all the crazy pulls.. yeah I died a lot. Later on it was just fine besides the drop rate.
Price of bloods on your server? Cause Siel Asmo is ~150k.

Getting gear and making money should be even easier for you. You have 3 inner forts to run. Maybe go rifting and farm expensive petals?
Bloods are about 160k for Asmos on Zikel.
And too bad about dredg. lol It pretty much instant pops for Asmos. I usually go to dredg on both my SM and my glad. I'll probably be going on my sin soon.

I try to run inner forts as much as possible but until today everyone was like "omg not level 50 liek that matturz u do 10k less dmgz" even though in reality..the damage difference is little unless the 50 is geared heavy.
Rifting and farming petals does sound like a good idea though..Bloods are 160k~ here as well.

Aww...visited the city today to try and buy Aion, but guess what, they didn't have CDs anymore, said that they sold last one 3 hours ago, they had gamecards and they said they'll get new cds in few weeks -.-
I tried Aion website but they have digital purchase only, and I hate buying things (especially if I won't get anything real...you know what I mean?) with credit card.
I buy quite a few of digital games and it doesn't bother me. I'm unsure what you mean.. You don't even need the CD for Aion anyhow. If I need the CD I'll want the box, if I don't need the CD I don't care for the box. Unless I'm saving money.. Gamestop sells it for $20 boxed or $40 for digital.. so lol

I'll probably play Elyos (Ranger, Spiritmaster or Cleric) in most balanced server I think, and I'll try to get some things done that can't be done in InfiniteAion, like propper abyss ranks, all quests, working broker, more craft/gather items etc.
That's the cancer to Aion. Sadly.. most new players roll Elyos and most of them are influenced due to friends.
Not trying to discourage you, but this is how the balance is at least during the free weekend I saw on Siel.. Fly out to the abyss? Elyos. Roaming your homeland(Beluslan/Asmo)? Elyos. Who owns the entire abyss? Elyos. Inside the abyss landing zone? Asmodians. Not sure if that's a balance to you, but to me that's just silly. Considering the time I stopped playing it was well.. honestly somewhat fair? Balance you can say then was like 55%/45%? Just that Asmodians were carebears and now the balance is 65%/35% and it's a joke.
Out of the 5 servers 4 are Elyos dominant and the other is Vaziel. I can't say much how well balanced those are since I never played on them. For NA servers that is.

Pointing facts ins't sad at all besides same things happening on EU servers exept that we still have some bots running in bakarma along with players. Sieges were horrible and we got buff of shame today. Dredgions is getting horrible as well many ppl just sits and does nothing. Well i wouldn't say everything that bad but it isn't doing well as well. I just wish my transfer (to other elyos dominative server) will be complete ASAP.

Btw you can't create elyos on some of the servers at the moment only in asmodian domianted server you can create elyos which would be in parento. And as far as i know there's TONS of asmodians i know which are extreemely good geared and such. On other servers that english(Spatalos and telemachus) you can create only asmodian character. Other servers (Kromede, Thor, Balder, Urtem, Suthran) are German and French. Your call bud
Well, if you are only one playing here NS I can do Asmo, but didn't u say something while ago about Spatlos that you aren't gon stay there or something? And after all, race isn't that importan as Friends or Legion. What ever server is the most balanced is fine, since I like more PvE than PvP and would be annoying to get owned by other race when questing.
And NS u are from Europe or...? Because if u are on NA server im worrying about how many people will there be playing at my time. And when i buy CD, update is and so on, does EU and NA servers have different patch so i would have to update them separately.

I am playing in Euro servers. If u want too bad for you (in europe servers).Every server is dominated by certain race i will still continue to play though. Legion is really important cause it's deadly borring with out it. I left mine like 3 weeks ago and loging for dredgions and few adma runs thats it.
Okey Noobs_Slayer, i ordered Aion because guy from the shop called and told that they can't get more of those games for one month, so I won't buy it from there. As far as I know game includes 30 day free game time and code for accoutn creation, right?

Once you're able to send out referral links just send all 3 out and hope someone buys the game within the month. Repeat it every 2 months and hope for the best. I did for 4 months(so 6 people) and got jack whereas other people has enough for a year of free time already.
I think it is 2 months before you can send out trials.
You know I don't get it.. Why the hell would they give someone 25 amulets? They got 10 hour cooldown and you get them for the first half year of veteran rewards. My 50 still has like 15 of them and my 35 has like 40 of them including the quest amulets you get to give to your alts. If they were like super amulets that gave 100% more exp and was I dunno 10 of them? Herp derp that'd be better.

Im starting to think of a class I should go. Im still unsure about it.
I like the cleric PvE solo gameplay, but I have tried fire temple only once and I had no idea what was going on when templar was pulling all the monsters.
I haven't tried sorcer or galdiator.
Spiritmaster seems ok, but I heard its not very welcome in instance parties because lower DPS than Sorcer.
Assassin is no no no, I have always hated ganker rouges.
Chanter or templar could be cool tho.
So what would be good class for mainly PvE but still able to PvP (Abyss) Im mostly intrested in Abyss forteresse's, since in InfiniteAion had only one workign fort (Siel forteress) and I never got there because is was always Elyos owned.
DPS class for the win, sorc is expensive class though. I'd suggest to go for DPS class since you're new to game, or you can take Templar and give leadership to someone who can mark. If you need refer to friend, send me your email in email, thank you have a nice day.
