Glavier Sucked? What do you think?

Now, my build is Heuksal 89 Fire 89 Light 72 Cold 20
I didn't max light cuz i think its a waste of sp.

with that set why would a warrior with bad set and +0 weapon evens me in pvp? Is glavier really that bad of a build?

Would you help me decide what to do with it? maybe I have wrong skills. Any suggestions??

P.S. I don't know any glavier in Zeus that is owning in PvP, so don't tell me that I don't know how to play that build.. Now I regret to have spent time leveling that char, I should have stayed playing with my Nuker its just better cuz many strong chinese nukers I know in Zeus.

I was referring to what I saw on rev6.

On topic: the level 90 fire/cold glavier in our guild was pretty strong, he rarely lost in PvP. When he left he was switching to light for speed. I don't know how that would have made anything worse, though.

oh, and his set was only like +4/+5, only one or two SoS pieces if that.

the warrior i pvp is a very good friend of mine, he uses bless and skins all the time, we pvp almost every day we always have even resuts.

Referring to the example about the warrior you mentioned in your first post: Normally you would have a hard time surviving a warrior when you're using garment. But your set is very good so it does seems kinda odd.

I once tried out my friends glaive char at csro. The char was lvl 101 and had Heuksal at 98, Fire at 95 and Light at 80. I never really fought a warrior, but against other builds it did quite well if you ask me.

I always liked Force Glaives and Force archers so I would suggest you to go Heuksal/Fire/Force. The force debuffs will drastically increase your damage in pvp's!

Force does have it's disadvantages though. As you'll have to give up cold or light you'll either lag speed or phy. def.

If I was you I would also change to protector but. Not with a set like yours but maybe at 10th degree.

I just read this and you should know that with blesses and skins any character will have a hard time killing a warrior. It's not only Glaives

Go for Heuksal/Cold/fire

The mastery is 330. Go 30 Cold and 80 light, much better than 20 cold and 90 light.
I have no idea why u get pwned and u have sun.

But try Heuksal/Force/Fire. If that doesn't own in 1v1 then quit or something. I suggest force glaive.
And to really make sure u will kill him, wear protector with same sox and +.

i really don't have much problem with other builds in pvp( except warlock, never tried them on pvp) The only problem is with warrior they still hit me hard even on that set and the bad thing is that they hit me 3-4 times then I can fight back with 1. they have annoying disables like stun, kd kb,dull with very high success.

youre talking bs. i saw son 2h+10 couldnt kill a glavier, and he didnt even tried to fight back, just kept walking with shield on, proving a point. the warrior was 110 FF with 2h+10 son. he was hitting maybe 14-14. (the glaivie was also 110 FF, both had full son set)

thnx for the info but i would like to know more about the details, was the glavier wearing protector or garments? Does he have cold or light?

I really want to make my build effective so that all those time I spent in grinding and farming will not go to waste.

At 80 and 90 cap I had no problem killing weaker warriors..at all. If they're killing you with +0 weapons and bad sets you're

a) not using xl pots?
b) not using vigors when you should
c) not using soul spear for stun at all (why not?)
d) rare case where you actually don't know how to PvP


spam soul spear and windless (i forget names sorta) for a little bit and then spin (again, forget name). If you're taking heavy damage, spam both soul spears for the double stun chance and forget about windless. Put up a fire wall (level 1 doesn't matter) to stop knockdown from happening.

Don't remember much more, was a long time ago. Snow shield works wonders too when you're hurting..

Well IMO u cant be strong against every build in this game, lets say u wear garment cuz of mag defense so u will be strong against int based chars, if you wear armor you will be strong against str based chars, and if you wear protector then you will be balanced, i know everyone knows that but sometimes the basics are what really matters. Think about this a little untill you realize what is going on, and one las thing, i remember here in aege every good pvper used to have 2 pretty maxed sets, garms and prot or armor and prot, so prot is a must have.

Back in "my time" warrior wasn't new at all. It was out for over a year. You losing to bad geared +0 warriors is simply illogical with sun gear. But you could get rid of that SoS chest since 3rd tier gear is better.

A glaiver is an 'all round' build. Meaning it's not amazing against anything but it's not bad against anything. A +5 set warrior with a +5 or +7 weapon should be a good match against you. Every time they do the attack with the shout, you should switch to a shield. If you're good enough you can combo shield switching into attacks, especially ghost spear (the spin i think).

And yes some people don't know how to pvp

u lose cuz he uses bless and skins all the time, its common sense, everyone would lose, no doubt (maybe archers would just spam kb, but.....) just keep trying, try to pwn him without bless and skins, but fire/heuk/ice is a good build i think you should go with that, and i dont rlly understand, u have pretty good gear, and if he has a +0 wep, and u a sun+7, there is no possible way u would lose, maybe a vid of u pvping him would rlly rlly help

He is a warrior, he is supposed to do big damage and have nice buffs. Its literally the easiest character to play with minus blader (Status, kd, stab, repeat).

Just keep trying with different pvp approaches and you will eventually win. Remember he is full str, and im assuming he is wearing armor? that, plus his buffs, poses a pretty strong phys defense to your mainly phys attack. Utilize your shield, take advantage of his "slow" pots and rebuff times (Bless, skins etc) and wait for your big crits to take him down.

Well..simply because he is a Warrior and uses Bless and Skin. Against any other build, he is pretty hard to kill when those are On. And he of course can win against any other with the same level. Maybe not all the time.

With regards to your char, if you have maxed your primary skills for PvP, then consider again your set. You can try a good Protector set and fight each other again. Try to see the difference. Garments are only pretty much good against INTs.

Nuker with nice items would prolly be the best against warriors.
And not, glavier doesnt suck... I suggest you to switch to fire/heuskal/force(you can keep fire at 90 and get 20 cold for snow shield @110)

No you werent, not if they have cycle/skins/bless. and use them. And you, as a nuker, even in armor, cant withstand many shots from a Warrior, ESPECIALLY as a spear nuker.

Agree with _c0nflict_. Unless that warrior don't have any buffs at all, 2 or 3 is possible.

glavier in garments really suck. I'm lv91 now FF and I pvped a warrior again lv94. he just kill me with 1 skill. Dare Devil (even w/o critical). I got around 31250 HP. wth.

ye man just go prot, and if he stuns you or KD, switch to shield, and try to get it atleast to +5 lol, if not possible, +3 or higher is a must...
