After a nice round of grinding outside Samarkand I returned to the city. Intention to enter through the most crowded gate (If you've been there, you know). Just before entering I was attacked by a mob and killed with one blow. I recognized it as a Winged Tribe Chaser (or something like that). How is it possible a level 80 mob or higher wandering AND attacking in a max 35 level area? Anybody experienced something like that?

It's a quest spawn. People use them to kill bots because bots will just walk through there and get killed.

Lesson of the story : when you see a giant winged monster killing everything it sees at the gate, don't walk through the gate.

Happens frequently, I was heading out with my alt for a plvl yesterday and glimpsed the wings, knew someone high level had spawned it there. That was at Sam east, but I noticed South had one too. Hotan east as well. Just use a different gate, or wait for a high-level player to leave town so you can follow them.

I noticed rev6 says you're guildless, are you planning on joining a guild?

It's a new trend, at the gate of Constantinople another lvl 80 mob was present. Now I noticed the yellow Q flag.

Define: "People". I think common player can't summon quest mob at the gates, only Joymax can. If it's Joymax, it must be windowdressing only, since a kind of symbiosis exist between Joymax and botters. If not: how perform (lvl 80+) players this trick? Now I look first & use other gate, indeed.

Guild? Not yet, since I'm 2-3 hrs online a week only, I like to grind, party & grow first. Maybe later on.
