I've just discovered never-ending amounts of epic-ness when I started watching Deep Space Nine. I've been watching Star Trek 60% of my awake time since I spared myself the first 45 minutes to try it out. GOD DAMNED, get me away from the screen.

After I'm done with DS9, what should I watch?

I've never seen DS9, but I liked The Next Generation.
Voyager was also good.

Watch in order some of the side jokes and some characters make more sense,

either start with the originals or the next generation, then ds9, then voyager. thats the right order to watch them

if you wanna get prissy enterprise then tos, ds9, voy is the right order by timeline

each have different qualitys which appeal, ds9 has epic space fights as its not so much focused on 1 shit we dont need to see them in the fight too much, voyager the characters are so good and 7 of 9 is hawt, enterprise the whole rustique feel of it yet so modern is awesome, originals are just luls all the way, the next generation all about the messeges we always learn something about how to get along with each other or how to respect other people or cultures and picard ftw

Tbh I do like Voyager quiet a bit but I do enjoy Enterprise more.

as a show its good but from a trek stand point its bad

its an upside down akira class ship
they met the borg dispite picard supposidly been the first to meet them
they shows ending was terrible i mean seriously
they had some technologies that tos didnt even though tos was set around 50ish years in the future under 100 for sure.

the list goes on when pointing out flaws in the lore.

Yea. the ending was f**king awful. Such a bad way to end not only
the season, but also the series and what looks to be the last ever star
trek TV show.

As for the borg, keep in mind in Voyager "Raven" we learn that 7of9 and
her parents were sent by starfleet to find out about the borg when she
was a child. Which was way before Q flung the enterprise to the
borg cube.
Remember Star Trek: First Contact, borg made it to earth right before
first contact and so it does make sense about the remains from the ship
that was blow up and Archer encountering them.

Star Trek first contact, refer to the pogo effect, the borg went back in time to stop an event which in turn helped create z event, the borg that went back intime where first encountered in the future not the past the process of them going back in time therefore means we did not encounter them in the past as they are future beings plus only 1 person of that time bracket even seen them.

starfleet did not send 7of9's family into the delta quad they went there on their own and studied them, they encountered them in the delta quad aswell.

the planet in which archer found the borg in enterprise was too far away from earth to have been left overs from first contact, their hive mind they where connected to was destroyed and this disconnected all remaining borg within that group, killing some aswell, those borg in the episode are connected to the delta quadrant borg of that era loosely it would seem but connected nether the less.

Picard had the first formal introduction to the borg and was a key event that attracted the borg to earth as they where aware of us before that but ignored us, in q's words we are not ready and it was to show us how not ready we really where.

This was the first federation meeting, which is what i really am basing it on, starfleet is different from the federation although often associated on the same lines. one is civilian one is military (so to speak)

but from what i remember it isnt earth, yes this is like shooting myself in the leg but it only hints towards first contact it dont actually say it is, the borg cant operate without a hive mind nor can they operate without a transiever but hey i could but wrong but imo this is a error which they lamly try correct with the messege taking 200years to get to its destination.

janeway was the best captain ever. Picard was good too but he was a bit righteous, Janeway got shit done though...i'd follow her to hell and back
