Done the military missions, 'feels as if' im getting rich ;P
In 5 hours skill upgrade will be done so i can fly my new ship.
After that some fast skill upgrades will let me use the armor repair stuff and such, im sure that'dd be a help in combat.

My friends tried to get me into the game,got a 21-day trial. When they talk,they make the game look so awesome with the whole butterfly effect. Once ingame its pretty boring Did the Tutorial and stuff,but the whole interface and the way you move seems akward.

TL;DR : I'm dissapointed

You shouldn't give up that quickly, get the hang of things.
Once you get the hang of it, and know everything, the game gets fun.

Thorax can pack a good punch too, have mine full of blasters, some tracking helping things and armor hardener and repairer, really does well for me.

Im using my Catalyst aswell atm, It was fun finishing the last off the tutorial missions XD
"Kill the saboteur" > pew pew > 1 second later you're done.
My Catalyst is full off railguns atm, huge range devestation + drone = nice.
I wonder if i should replace my Shield booster with an afterburner or so, since its slower then im used to...

What do you think would be the best things to put in the medium power slots for a long range ship (optimal firerange is 14,85km).

You should really download the trial, its really worh it. At first it might seem a bit hard and confusing, bit it really pays off learning everything, it gets real fun. Thats why I really recommend reading everything being said in the tutorial!

Played the trial myself, it's tough but very fun. Good luck though as there are only like three huge factions. Get used to being blasted in zerospace

and yeah, the skills working offline thing is kewl, too bad SRO didn't let you gain SP like that.

Lmao, me neither.
If i go hunting pirates i go to 0,5 atm, havent gone lower yet.
Made quite some bucks today by doing some missions where i had to kill off pretty big fleets alone (equip the long range ammo and fly by the side a bit, picking them off at huge range xD)
Salvaging all the wrecks, gaining the bounty and mission fee gained me 8,9 mil ISK in 1 day >.<
Dont think i'll be getting that much again again to soon though.

Just watching and waiting...ISK selling/buying is huge in Eve, it's another reason I didn't play past the trial.

I've actually played for a year and a half, games pretty cash imo. its true that its hard to learn, but once you start to get the hang of things its pretty easy to play. i do suggest doing the tutorials, very helpful. also be sure to play with some, you won't last long alone in this game. and mining is the worst way to make isk too (next to ratting in highsec). The best way to make isk when you start out is ninja salvaging, makes a lot people pretty angry too.

I laughed at the rockets on the caracal, im pretty sure i'd get a good laugh out of that fit. don't feel bad about it, lots of new people don't know how to fit a ship properly

I'd suggest joining a corp as soon as possible, EVE university is a good one. You could also join my corp (im actually a director lol).

It's not noticeable, even if you do buy it, your not getting much of a leg up, your going to lose what ever you buy anyways. The developers are constantly cracking down on the producers of it.


Edit: Also, theres 300+ titans in the game, cost about 80bil each and take 1 month to construct. the developers didn't think that there would be more than 2.

Besides that, i've tried salvaging some big wrecks, but i couldn't yet...
The salvaging skill info doesnt say its related to that though, is there some other skill that has to be trained to salvage bigger wrecks perhaps ?

train it to level 4, and get the salvage tackle rigs.

no need to be mad, i have other things to deal with. like sleep.

and believe it or not, my main job in eve is to recruit people and manage my corporations.


not to mention, i have to help people in my corp learn the game more than people who aren't. i've said it before, your corporation is your biggest asset.

use drones for frigates and heavy missiles for cruisers and up. if you can't use heavy missiles, use light missles.
