Silk Strike?
Another mistake from Joymax ?
Ok, let's make the point :
Let's say 50 players buy $10 silk per day
That means $500 per day total, right?
it makes $15 000 a month
And i guess there are more players buying more silk every day...
$15K a month, and they cant add an event? They can't make an update without delaying it, or making 9 hour inspection instead of 3??
They can't ban more botters? when was the last list? (with known botters >.>)
EDIT : i gorgot the time you lose while waiting to connect, and getting d/c for nothing, or the ???? error, or getting d/c while porting.
And now, the best of all, botters or assholes are getting som 64? ONLY BECAUSE THEY SPAMMED THEIR WEBSITE? THAT'S BS!!!
I'm not saying GMs are dumb, im just saying that they could consider us a bit more, because i guess they win pretty much for a FREE TO PLAY game. Yes im pissed off
This is what i propose : Stop buying silk for 1 month, NO ONE should buy silk for one month...
I know some of you already started this..
What do you think?

Yeah im complaining. Because they win enough money to provide a real better service. Why should they? Because there are like 10K players now, they win too much money from a f2p game to not do anything.

btw i'd like to say that i dont really like complaining.
But sometimes i want to say something that is really important for me. I'm not ungrateful. I am really grateful that joymax created a free game, easily accessible, with really nice graphics, and good gameplay
But the fact is that now, we're all really addicted. We're like needing that game.
My point is that joyma does not consider us enough. For example, a simple GM blog on the website would be great, we could see what they think, ask question, etc...
There is a real difference between koreans and us, i mean that they got crazy events ( 7 isy at south DW
)
And if GMs read this thread ( i know they read frums but prolly not every thread, there are too much), im not thinking you are dumb, i just think we could have more support, for example im think that speaking in a server (not before an inspection or while hunting bots >.>) , just for nothing, more often would be cool

FACT JM is running SRO (and JSRO and KSRO and TSRO and...) since all these months (years ?) opening regularly new servers
ASSUMPTION I believe JM is not a non profit association
CONCLUSION must be a profitable business...
any objection ?

most of the money they get (which is very little) goes back into development costs, translation, services [hardware/software/bandwidth]. If anything, you guys are not buying ENOUGH silk ^^
Joymax sold SRO publishing rights to Yahoo! Korea for $8.6 million + it has sold the same rights to different publishers in other countries, most recently to Vietnam. I'm pretty sure they got enough money to cover the development costs for couple years. Ever wondered how they could make iSRO free to play? Because they had made small fortune already by selling SRO licenses to other countries (and not to forget profits from their other earlier published games). I don't know what kind of license deals they've made but most likely they get share of the profits from each country as long as Joymax provides game updates to license holders. ISRO item mall profits are just a drop in a lake.

I haven't bought silk for over two months. If you think Joymax isn't fulfilling their obligation to paying customers to enforce their own rules and provide stable service then you shouldn't be buying silk either. It's not something you do or don't do based on whether X amount of people agree to join you. It's very simple: is it worth it for you, or isn't it?

Never bought silk, don't think I ever will unless the game gets some serious changes made to it. changes that not only I support, but a community. I don't care if they don't speak a word of fraggin' english. They can still tell a flame from a compliment. And right now, they should be hot as hell. Why don't they cool off and make the game livable like it is for their little precious KSRO and JSRO?
My never ending sadness fuels my ever-burning anger as I unsheathe my final, last resort.
I actually did that thing in Mixmax's Sig!
