Well yeah, ofcourse that corner should have been given. But I dont think it would have changed the match for us and made us win it. It was a terrible match to watch, liked the other 'final' much better yesterday. Beforehand everyone was so sure we were going home with the cup, we just had to play an easy match and steamroll Spain, I always predicted Spain would win

lol @ Holland... and people here saying that ref gave to many cards to your players, simply lol. He should've given a whole lot more RED ones which he didn't. Yes the ref sucked, but orange peeps were hitting way too much.

The Spain goal wasn't offside, though it started as a goalkick that should've been a corner kick.

anyone who said Spain were the better team then yes...in this match and ONLY
in this match were they the better team.

Overall in the World cupthey reminded me a LOT of Italy in the last world cup,
boring boring boring and oh yes....BORING. A lot of mundane 1-0 results,
consently suround the ref and doing that stupid spainish card gesture
and claming penalties and freekicks evertime they went down or felt any
contact at all.
I think the ref did a very good job considering he was trying to control two
VERY dirty teams and over all did a good job (should of sent off some Holland
players, and likewise could of booked some spanish, but let the game flow)

Yes they won, and congratulations to them for that. But come 2014 Brazil they

I have to agree indeed, our team played dirty and Robben failed twice imo. Spain deserved it looking at this match, counting the entire championship we should have won. After we won against Brazil the atmosphere was so good and it felt like we could conquer the world

I absolutely agree that overall spain played better and that eventually they deserved to win.
However, the way they won this just leaves a bad taste.
And as for the **** with his south park pic, go wash your stinking cheepeeto hands and get out of your basement.
I normally don't watch football, and only do it to be with friends, im not some kind of big-time patriot
reason i called the ref partial :

i think it was van der wiel, got a yellow card for basically touching the spanish player (who then preceeded to do a nosedive)

the first (or was it second? stopped paying much attention after the first 90 mins) red card was the same, the orange player hardly touched him and the spanish player dove to the ground like the 911 yet to the world trade center.

And then, the ball that caused spain to win, was offside but went on ( to clarify, the pass that went to the dude that scored wasn't offside, but the pass to the dude that passed to the scoring player was offside.)

and then we don't get a corner at the end of it, but well, that didn't make much of a difference.

Overall I think spain deserved to win, and well, im happy with silver (and holland did indeed played more dirty)

However, compared to yesterdays game (which was just amazing) this game was incredibly bad.
