Pretty funny the title doesn't say the word "bot" so why you entered and posted there? ,if you don't want to care about bots just don't post or read forums since the bot are and always will be a popular thing to talk about

Bakaro and Caras, you two should be ashamed of yourselves. How exactly did chaud go back in time 25 days to make a dummy account? And if you knew anything about chaud, you would know that he says whatever the hell he wants to whoever the hell he wants, as himself. Not to mention the fact that their IP addresses are different.

ok finally i got it.

The screenshot you just took proves only that he is botting with his lvl 17 glaiver. Did he use it on his main? I don't know. No proof. I will say, the most evil part, is that he has the evil intention to use the bot. But i have no solid proof. If you really saw the character (main one) bot, that's a different story.

We are just assuming that he will use the bot if it is safe. But do you really know or have the proof he will do that? That's the problem. When you have no proof and assume, people gonna kick the shit out of you

If you have the proof that the main character of chaud bot, i will STFU

People, give it a rest. Chaud is not using a bot for leveling up his main or no other character for that matter. Why even take the time to go around trying to find things about other people like you obviously did. If you don't like him, don't start yelling witch and hope he gets burned at the stake.

The reason why Chaud used the bot program have been explained by him. And actually, to me thats one of the easiest way to spot if someone uses a bot program. Just check their walking route and if they stop every 20 meters or so to move on to their next checkpoint, well then there's no doubt of what they are doing. When I grinded out in the yeti area, starting from Hotan I usually could find one of the botters going out there. So I put my character on trace, went out to the kitchen and made myself a cup of coffee and let the bot take all the agro out to the yetis.

I hope Joymax are doing the same as what Chaud did. And if they aren't, well then all the information he passed on would be usefull for them in the finding of a good way to ban all botting accounts. Why he used his real identity on that forum, is both amusing, and a haunt to all botters out there. I have a hard time to believe anyone who is botting with their high level character would do such a thing. And if you come to Babel, the whole botting soap opera there would be more obvious to you and this post would never been made.

I would like to support Chaud in saying I also tested several different bot programs on dummy accounts to learn first-hand how botting characters move, act, reply to tells, and so on. It's not uncommon for anti-bot people to do this and get a better idea of how to spot bots and deal with them. Are you all now going to start accusing me of botting?

-50 points to the thread starter for trying to start a pointless flamewar without first having any facts straight. Shame on you. SRF is better than that.

-100 points to TOloseGT, who obviously just visited to play the "My e-penis is bigger than your e-penis" game. (And he lost)

first off, bakaro, youre an idoit. everyone on this thread knows it. so just shut up with the accusations. youre wrong. and youre the only one that hasnt noticed or admitted it yet.

i also tested out 2 or 3 bot programs on a dummy account on my other computer (which is no longer sro usable so i dont have to worry about keylogs) to learn more about them, how to spot them, ks them, murder them, etc. the last of which being the best reason.

if having botted a character on a different account and server to lvl 16 or so makes me a botter, then go ahead and ban me. but i dont think thatll happen.
