That's the reason I don't like PC gaming FPS. Aimbots are in every single one no matter what kind of Security they have.

I often hit where I want to with the RPG though. The only time I wish it was more accurate was playing Terminal. Trying to shoot one through the plane sucks lol. Nubetubing is still funny though.

lol, that reminds me of a final kill cam about a week ago. some guy shot a rpg through the front window of the plane, it went through and to the left a bit, and hit the wall right by where you walk in from the ramp and killed someone

All the RPG's that I've managed to get through the cock pit, get hitmarkers with Danger close on even. Suck big time. A funny kill cam I got, was my noob tube killing the dude in the back by exploding the barrels lol

Haiiii Durr,

Alright so I got some money laying around and I though of maybe buying MW2. My Laptop can run it fine but I still have doubt on my processor(Core2Duo 2.1 GHz)

Anyways, I would like to know what are the real cons about the whole server thing. Would I notice anything that would piss me off as a "casual" gamer. I'm no pro,I won't mind whatever PC MW2 players are complaining about unless it really affects my gameplay.

The things that'll piss you off would be IW net - trouble connecting to lobbies sometimes, but i myself can live with that.

Besides that there's more hackers then on the consoles i guess.
The game is fun as long as you play it with friends ^^

You'll have to watch out for hacked lobbies, notice different speeds / some weird welcomming text / switching game mode (you join TDM and it puts you in S&D for example) or randomly switched weapons (for example, you pick your assault rifle class, but you'll get a no-cammo sniper rifle).

If thats not to much of a problem for you it should be fine

thats pretty much it. if you want to level yourself just save the files i listed like 5 times now lol. when you get into a hacked lobby just use your backups and your back to the same level.

your dual core will be fine might not load ultra fast but it will work. you MIGHT get a hic up here and there but thats about it.

as a casual gamer i am sure the difference between console and PC will mean little to you. i haven't really noticed any aimbots and those things that or i kick ass. overall i enjoy the PC over xbox but thats just me.

EDIT: also if you know how to port forward it would be a good idea for mw2 gives you an extra edge and solve some connection issues.

But I'm confused,just be entering a "Server/Room" (I'm guessing its like TF2 and CS:S Server System) you can be hacked and brought down to Level 0 ?!?! Also can't you just leave with no penalties if you join what seems to be a hacked room?

Also,do you have a different level for every server? If so that kinda sucks (By that I mean would I be Lv32 on "John's Extreme Server" but Level2 on "Sara's Pwnage Server"?

a hacked server where you are instantly lvl 70 and what not. you get into them at random because the game matches you with other players. if you leave a match you don't get your match bonus and it counts as a loss be it hacked or not. you have a general level and such to answer the last question.

I've never seen a server thatd'd get you back to level 0 yet, but i have seen servers that get you to level 70.
ITs not like CS etc, with dedicated servers.
You just click you want to join a Match, and it auto-finds a match with the lowest pings and makes one player host.

99% off the time you can leave the lobby without penalties (besides the match counting as a loss, but big deal).

You have 1 level, which always applies to you, everywhere you go (since there are no dedicated servers to begin with ^^).

Yeah but didn't you just say you went on a Hacked Server and then you'r Level became 0?

It goes both ways - you can go straight to lvl 70 with all guns/titles and emblems, or back to level 0 with nothing. Atleast you can on Xbox, but you rarely ever ever run into tenth lobbies.

You can get on both.
But 95% off the games are normal matches, off the modded 5% off the lobbies around 4% is just fun lobbies, running around with ac-130 stuff as your mainweapon, jumping high / runnin fast and such stuff.
Off whats left probs 0.7% is made off lobbies that get you to L70 after you kill, rarely you see lobbies that make you L70 anyhow.
I've personaly never seen a lobby yet that gets you down to L1 straight away, i have seen 1 lobbie that decreased your exp per kill

But i've been playing for quite a while ^^ and i've only seen one off those so xD

Seen my first FAL modded controller on Ps3 yesterday. I've heard ppl had em but never seen one used. I thought my friend was just raging but sure enough that mother fucker either had the worlds fastest trigger finger or he's full of shit. What's worse is the guy was Tac inserting into our spawn. Didn't last long though before I shoved my RPG up his ass 3 times in a row.

There are LOADS of people with modded controllers on Xbox using FAL, M21, WA, USP, or M9. I have a pretty fast trigger finger when I'm not aiming at anything, but I mean c'mon .. Some people with mds unload their whole clip in like 3 seconds flat. And like Moshe, I have never ran into any xp lobbies, just ones that are slow/fast, or do silly things like if you get hit without stopping power, you go flying outta the map >_>

That's what it was pretty much Moshe, he had Fmj and with a single shot it looks like from his point of view, me and my friend drop. In a Demo match. Then watching him shooting it comes this huge burst of bullets and he stop firing. I'm assuming to reload lol.

Modded controllers have been around for a while though. I had one in CoD4 and still have it now. It's not as fun as it seems. Silenced FAL would be pretty pro with it. Like a better MP5 almost.

I don't like using it unless someone else is, and even then, I rarely come across it. Like 1 in every 20 games maybe. That's being generous.

Omg I wish Ps3 Had Moderators sometimes... For shit like people spewing "Ni**er" all the time randomly because they lose OR win. Even simply just to do it sometimes. I'm not black, but almost all my friends that I play with are. They try not to let it bug em in the lobby, but in the match I can tell they are fucking pissed. Although the funny part of it is, they often go "Yea, well this Ni**a just kicked your asses"
Question, how many of you have been called that, or one of your friends? I didn't see it as a big issue when I started playing, but now it's almost guaranteed everyday. Sometimes I wish it was like MAG and you couldn't hear the enemy period. I don't like muting em, cause then I don't know what my friends are getting pissed about.

I mute everyone normally. Not many people say helpful things. I don't play SnD or anything that really needs hardcore communication anyway. I'd rather focus on the game sounds...but ya, a moderator to ban the losers saying things like that would be awesome.

I hate it. So annoying to hear that crap. Reminds me of a 20 yr old dude that my older brother and I confronted today for threatening my little 15 yr old brother yesterday. Back on the RPG topic - Was in a match going against a full team of Noob tubers / RPG noobs who did nothing but launch em and shoot Rpgs.. We won lol. That just goes to show how bad ppl that can't fire a gun really are. I got so many Triples and Double I lost count. Map was Highrise Demolition and we spawn trapped them so hard once they came out of spawn from either side or under, their bodies his the ground.

So like, Tactical Insertion is one of the greatest things ever if used right. 2 Hardcore games, I got 6 kills towards Jack in the box. So fun when someone is camping my TI, and I spawn spraying my gun. Even had one guy standing on my TI once, and he didn't know it was there, so I shot him in the back. Good for "wtf" revenge kills too. Twice I put down a TI, got killed a second later, and jumped out and killed them right away after.

lol Tac inserting is fun as well as killing tac inserters that don't even try to help in objective games. I got hate mail from some guy for counter camping him in our own spawn.

Gotta love the idiots that keep planting one in the same spot no matter how many times they get killed from it right after spawning. Right now though, I destroy TIs I find, going for the challenge for preventing 25 of them. When I decided on that, I also decided to go for Jack in the Box.

I got Darkbringer done just a couple days ago. Doing jack in the Box as well hehe. Using Tac with a Silenced Tar / Stopping Power. Also with an AA12 since I've never used one before. I don't find it as fun as people made it seem though. Rangers are Still the funnest shotgun for me. Not Great range, but deadly when turning corners.

I'm not very far on Darkbringer. I used to camp TIs for a free kill. Should play some FFA and try to get it fast by booster hunting... Doing Jack In The Box on Hardcore with Mini-Uzi silenced, .44 Magnum, Scav pro/CBP/Sit Rep Pro. Mini-Uzi is amazing in Hardcore, and .44 Magnum is a decent sniping pistol.

Fun time when I out-sniped a sniper with .44 Magnum...
Overgrown - Was going into the house that one of the teams spawns next to (right by the wooden bridge) and saw a sniper on the other side of the bridge next to the barn. Ran into the house quick, pulled out Magnum, moved out of the house, and shot him. I also out snipe the snipers in Karachi a lot of times. I would do the same with Deagle, but the sight is a little off on it.
