Is bottled water actually toxic enough to do harm?

If the plastic bottle is left in the sunlight it will break down and you will be drinking plastic and water. The plastic obviously has chemicals in it.

Well if your on city water i would use bottle, if you have your private well then it should be good...really miss my private well, on city now and cant stand the taste. So now buy bottled to ride out a couple hours and feel up some big jugs from a stream.

If only left in the heat for a long time or at high temp , but it's cleaner( bottled water)

In most cases tap water is far more regulated than bottled water.

i drink bottle water, cause tap doesnt tatse very good...
though i use taps for other things such as cooking, but not drinking
also convenient

naw it tastes different, my towns water is kind of chloriney if i dont filter it, Evian tastes the best, aquafina tastes like crap and so does dasani.

yeah tap water taste and composition differs vastly from area to area. I like my areas just fine depending on the house im in. Pipes, whether they are iron or copper and their age can also change the taste.

My grandmother used to do this to her well water, but the pan slipped out of her hands and the water gave her like 2nd and 3rd degree burns. That was the last time she did that =(

Now if I could get my wife off of her bottled water obsession.

then buy a filter like pur and use it for drinking/cooking water. Just filter the tap water and it'll taste just like water and nothing else, thats what I do.

i drink tap ---> water filter ----> chilled by frige water up here at school

at home, i drink bottled, or fridge water
