the higher you get, the more ball possession matters
having the ball awarded is the highest priority
how you achieve that is pushed further into the background.

but acting like your bones snap after the slightes touch is just embarrassing.

even if it sounds official, everyone knows what is meant when football is mentioned, 1 term is enough.

As for the American team, it's fun to see an apparent outsider to the sport play just as well or even better than countries who have invested alot more into it.
If football were to reach a higher reputation in the US, i'm sure the team would improve drastically by means of tactics and technique...
(would be nice if their mentality of fairplay stayed though)

they rushed and pushed him over trying to get it.

Then an italian stepped on the goalie,
looked like he got touched in the face (camera angles didn't show if he really did)
then he was already on the ground ready for the ambulance
