well if you were doing a hybrid str build you could do what i was going to do. i was planning to do 100 glavie blade 80 fire 20 ice just to get snow.

i however don't know if being hybrid and not having max imbune will cause issues. but trust me i hardly even needed snow shield.

don't worry about the weapon switching nonsense it becomes easy if you test out your skills while you grind. i figured out many combos just from grinding like switching to blade during soul spear and to glavie from your kd move (i like that one because it tricks people :P and they think ill do kd again lol)

Fire/Light/Garm? Take prot or ice and you'll see they can't do shit without their debuffs. Unless they got some dmg increase cheat cuz I'm basing this mostly of off isro.

Or maybe fix your gear :P
