Title says it all folks, books books books! I've been in a reading frenzy the past month or so, just reading like all hell and really enjoying it. Problem is, I've read everything I've wanted to read (and even re read some old books of mine that I enjoy). So, everyone, what's your favorite book? Or book series? Maybe not even your favorite, just recommend somethin'! I need more to read, that I do.

Recent readings include;

* The Time Travelers Wife
* The Catcher in the Rye
* To Kill a Mockingbird
* The Pig that Wants to be Eaten
* The Art of War

Any genre is welcome, I like to read a variety of different things and all recommendations are welcomed and will be read. It may take a while, though, as I'm a slow reader

A long time ago, about a year ago, a person I was talking to on the train recommended this book to me. They were so excited to tell me about it, I just had to buy it. But what did I do? I forgot the dam name of it! I knew the title was a date, but that's all I knew. By far this will be the first one I buy and read. Let's hope it lives up to expectations [:

I've seen this in borders and I was dam near going to buy it. I mean I had it in my hand and all, but in the end something else caught my attention and I didn't end up getting it. I shall have to look into it [:
Thread bookmarked. To answer earlier questions by Pan_Raider, this is intended to be a "I will get these books" thread, so it's going to take me a dam while to complete them all. I'll keep it updates whenever I finish one though.

The Warded Man, the first book of The Demon Cycle by Peter V. Brett. There's only two books out so far, but I LOVED them. Fantasy and it is also labeled as Sci-Fi.

Then there's the Temeraire Series by Naomi Novik, I think there's five books out so far, with the next one coming out July 11th. I read these two that I recommended in order and loved them both. Mainly Fantasy and alt history with dragons (with a really cool, different take on dragons and how they are used). Let me know if you're curios about any of them.
