Solution to BP oil crisis!
Solution to BP oil crisis!
Why dont those fisherman stop complaining that their jobless now because of the oil spill, bla bla.
They just struck the gold mine. Why dont they fish the OIL. LOL.
Seriously saw some vid where the guy has a device that separates the oil from water at like 200 gallons a minute.
Price of oil > Price of fish
let the trollin begin.
ok edited to take out "insults".

Re: Solution to BP oil crisis!
you then need to factor in how many others will do it, how much it costs for the gear, how much it costs to retro fit this to your boat, how much you can gain per trip all add these up its a lot less effective then you think otherwise im sure bp would be doing it.
side not bp shares are down i might invest £300 or so into it, its oil them share prices will go back up for sure

this, i was thinking this as well, invest some money in bp in 5-7 years this will be most likely out of mind and stock should be around where they were before maybe a bit lower.

I too was thinking about doing the same thing, their stock won't bottom out or anything, it'll go back up once this is all over and I'll get some money out of it.

Well who are they going to sell it to? I don't think an 'exxon' for example will take gas from a fisherman.

The thing is that the corporation can ....
BP sold 40% of its share weeks prior to this event and it's CEO sold 33%, yeah is all a big accident no1 saw coming ...

Why don't you put some effort into it. We just gave billions to banks, I'll let you figure out what that means.
edit: while at it hopefully you can figure out why we were forced to do this.

So you ask me to find them myself? In other words, no. Your making a point, back up your figures with a sourced proof. If not it's pure speculation.
But if you didn't make them all up it shouldn't be hard to do, right? For a claim as big as yours you really aught to start justifying your words.

You are very confused ... I don't have to jump and run around for you to consider an statement, if you value and consider the claim possible you should investigate yourself rather than have me show you w/e source that will agree with me, that or ignore it......

Re: Solution to BP oil crisis!
The essance of all validation lies on justification. If you make a statement in court, you need proof of your words and you must provide it. Otherwise, it's hear say. If your writing an assessment, you need to provide a source of your information. Otherwise you can simply be making it up and get punished because of it (a loss in marks because of a lack of validation). And in the forum environment, unless you can prove what you say, why would we believe it? And why would we spend our time proving something that you wrote? Isn't that a part of stating your opinion/fact, proving it's the truth?
But really, whatever. If you don't want to provide a source, than I'm not motivated enough to do it for you. None the less your claim was interesting. I wouldn't be still responding if it wasn't.

and where is the source of what you just write? about statement in court.
stop being an idiot. I don't believe all 400 of your posts contain a source in each. He could have read the information from a newspaper, from a radio. What you just ask is like write an article of newspaper in this thread, post a music file (that contains what he heard from radio) in this thread, etc...
Even more idiot if you start to ask where is the source of that newspaper, where is the source of that radio.

It's not hard, but he is not obliged to find it that's all. If you interested in the information and the truthful of it, then go find it yourself. Otherwise, you can ignore the information. But do not call everyone a bullshiter like MrTwilliger did.
Mr Twilliger here call other people bullshitter without realizing that he is also a bullshitter himself, as I can tell in many of his posts without the source. Hypocrisy is no good.
And he better fix himself before he start to call everyone liar and bullshitter, and lost the trust to people around him.

its quite impossible to rain oil as it has to evaporate not to mention an oil cloud would be much closer to the ground then a huble nimbus due to weight

Re: Solution to BP oil crisis!
Even if you had a million fishermen pulling oil instead of fish, they would only be addressing the symptoms of the problem instead of the real problem, which is the gushing well a mile beneath the ocean. But I can see how the government would go for this idea, they are notorious for throwing money at symptoms instead of addressing the real problems.
Oil does evaporate. For example, those fumes you smell as you are pumping gas? That's evaporated gasoline(something distilled from crude oil). Also, in reference to the weight, the oil that floats on the surface of the water is less dense than water.

alright about the 2nd part your right but it is quite impossible under normal circumstances ie sun for oil to evaporate now if you where to add a lot more heat to it then thats a different story. dont know why i think oil is heavier even now after i know your right i stil think your wrong its crazy
