If England played better then why didn't they win? That's right, they couldn't get through u.s. defenses. U.S. attackers were also faster than english defenders.
bolded part is right, the english defenders rely a bit too much on tugging and holding,it's time they ran a bit.
the thing about them not getting through the us defence.... not quite
they had enough chances to get through because the americans left big gaps before the penalty area. but like most teams in this year's tournament they did not play the right ball at the right time.
