Dads may be important, but having two moms doesn’t seem to negatively impact a child’s development, according to a new study.

The study began in 1986 with around 80 lesbian families when they underwent artificial insemination. Their kids are around 17-23 now and they did a number of psychological tests on them.
While I'm not surprised at the results, as I never held any bias against same-sex families, it's interesting to look at this study, albeit with a very small study group, in this time where homosexuals aren't always so tolerated, and especially child-rearing homosexual couples.
The possibility of this being a fluke can't be ruled out, and the no one is saying that ALL lesbian families with children are this way. Maybe the fact that they realized they were in a study effected the results? Very possible. Like your average hetero family, there's the good and the bad.
What do you guys feel about same-sex families with children? I don't want to get into a debate on homosexuality, that's for another topic. What do you expect the children to be? More or less the same? Do you think being brought up without a parent of a certain sex is detrimental to a child's growth?
don't be noobs
