Sword - Need Help

As you can see, its a sword, would be nice if you could color it. red/sliver colors, and there is somekind of a gem at the bottom of the sword.

Hi, I have been trying to color some of my sister's drawnings for a while, but since I don't have a pen table, its pretty hard. I would approciate if you could help me to color image above, or give me some useful links for tutorials etc.

Pen tool -> fill color -> burn and dodge tools thats how i'd do
