Trucks are rear wheel drive, he would have had more traction.

He meant lost traction to the front, ie, lost steering control.

Yea I did. This reminds me of when me and my dad almost crashed cause some sh1t in our trailer came undone and shifted all the one side making it impossible to control and we ended up cutting across the 4 lane because of it. No accident surprisingly, but still all the weight in the back is prolly what did it.

I don't think the driver was trying to drift or anything. Looks more like too many ppl in the back, truck lost it's center of gravity, loss control, flipped. There's a reason there's a law against having people in the back of a truck.

Its the same principle as going to fast on a skateboard and it wobbles back and forth under your feet(at least for an amateur like me). The fact that the truck was so light initially then adding all the body weight on the rear was horrible. When the road leveled out the front of the truck started to lift up, with less weight on the steering tires to keep the truck straight, any slight difference in weight from drivers side or passenger will naturally pull the truck to one side, then driver stupidity comes in, he severely over corrected, if he had lightly applied the breaks to put more load on the front tires and kept the wheel straight and not made such sudden movements i feel he would have successfully saved his truck and passengers. Just my opinion.
