Don't really see the reason why saying no should warrant people having to die to save others...
People that said yes are in the same boat, 'cept instead of adding yet another one to the mass on the table, some people chose to say no ...
so
"No" = indirect cause of death, thus should die for such when a decline to cause a seemingly direct path of death in order to save more lives, indirectly, presents itself.
"Yes" = indirect cause of death, thus shouldn't die for such and kills yet another for personal gain to do whatever with while continuing to indirectly cause the deaths of individuals.
I can see your point, but w/e ...looking from that view, I'd say any should die then for the indirect cause of deaths to save the lives of lots of other individuals

but then again, those that said no do so in the sense of direct cause for a death rather than an indirect link towards such things...
