- uses mouse 90% of em do anyway...
- selections of skills from a menu
- stats for characters
- quests
- gear upgrades.
etc.
Thats just one typ of RPG, an RPG is simply playing as a fixed caracter (a role) in game, atleast I think its just one.
Has pretty much nothing to do with the things you listed.
As the name sais: Role Playing Game.
Err... Isn't Price of Persia an Action/Platform game ? o_O
By your theory Tomb Raider could also be a RPG, but it's an Action-Adventure...

I meant I used to play The Last Remnant on my computer, but controlled through my PSP with pspdisp lol
You are trying to say that you are playing your PC game trough the PSP? wut
I know about the remoteJoy but this...
I played the game on my computer, but the PSP was streaming the video and sending keyboard commands. I'm unsure if you were sarcastic.
If being a loser means not playing Silkroad all day.. lulwut?

Ahh PSPdisp. I see, never heard of that homebrew. Imma try it right now.
Well i know about the RemoteJoy wich is completely the opposite... You can watch/play your PSP games on your PC.
And no, i was serious.
Edit: PSPdisp is pretty amazing. How do you make your PSP send Keyboard commands?
Edit2: Never mind, managed to find the controls. About to customize them.

I'm not a fan of RPGs, but I really liked DAO, Mass Effect series and Fallout 3.

Also wanted to add that Baldur's Gate II is like the granddaddy to games like KOTOR, Mass Effect and DA/DA:O. Its bigger then DA and i for one think it has a better story line and gives you the player more choice in how you reach the ending.

That might be true, but it's a D&D game.
And DnD games are a pain.

Ture, but they used an improved D&D system (seen later in Kotor, and fully improved for DA) One of the reason why Bioware made the best D&D games, they improved on and modernised the old dice roll

Oh also try: - Bioshock (first person action/rpg/shooter, kinda comparable to fallout) - Thief series (first person rpg) Thief shouldn't be too hard on your computer. Bioshock you may not be capable of playing on highest settings but the game is definitely one of the best I have seen.
