Me? I roll(When you're under the effects of E, it's called rolling) once maybe twice a month. Usually at a large party or rave. Do I need to do E? No, but it's fun being able to not have a care in the world and feel like you do when you're on E.

The important thing, and the thing that gives E a bad name, is whether or not you understand how the drug works and how it is effecting you.

So when you sleep your brain releases a chemical called Dimethyltryptamine(DMT) which is what makes you dream. Im pretty sure its one of the most illegal drugs out there. And you can get it from any plant with a simple chemistry set.

Nop, because XTC is a drug you only take on party's, and since most people don't party every weekend and don't use XTC at all those party's, it's quite harmless. But that goes for all drugs, even alcohol. If you use it too much you'll end up getting addicted.

I have never taken any drugs, so I wouldn't know how addictive they are, but they aren't good for you lols. Eveyone's body is different - just because your mate didn't get addicted after taking a few E pills at a party doesn't mean you won't either. Nothing good can come from taking drugs.

People can smoke pot for all I care, but don't give me that bullshit about marijuana not negatively affecting your body. Your inhaling in chemicals that your body normally does not inhale. From a common sense standpoint, there is going to be a change inside the body. Whether a medical condition develops or not, now or 30 years from now, no one is going to know until then but I ain't taking the chance.

I'm currently 20 and I've never taken any drugs, let alone even thought about taking them. I don't really drink anymore, I don't really enjoy the experience all that much. I don't smoke, either. It just doesn't appeal to me in any way.

I don't really see what the appeal behind drugs is to be honest. I have always saw drugs, and alcohol too, as a means of escaping reality. But why do we need to escape reality? The way I see it, if I'm hanging out with some good mates I don't need any sort of drug to alter my perception of reality to have fun. It's the people I'm around that make those moments interesting, we always find something to put a smile on our faces. My experiences have taught me this much, anyway.

I do have a few friends that do a lot of drugs. They know my position on it and they hate it when people tell to me try drugs (I think the fact that they respect my beliefs is just awesome). Whenever we hang out and they want to be under the influence (usually they just smoke weed, but I know they take LSD and Acid as well) they do it before hand and then we meet up. Although I'd rather them not do it, I know that at times they do wish to. If they want to do it then so be it, it's their choice.

What really annoys me, though, is people who complain if they get caught. Although not in reference to drugs, I know a few friends that have been busted drinking when they were under age and I've been a witness to seeing my friend get caught buying an under age friend a bottle of vodka at Dan Murphies. They bitched and moaned, got in a lot of trouble of their parents and, luckily, only got a warning off the cops and their details recorded. But if your willing to break the law and take/buy drugs, than at least take it like a man when you get caught. Same goes for side affects, too. You know the risks and you know the dangers, don't moan in pain when you find yourself feeling like shit.

Dimethyltryptamine is in fact found in plants. To say you can get it from any plant with a simple chemistry set is ridiculous.

Pretty much, when you dream your brain releases small amounts of this chemical. The less you can remember about a dream, the more DMT was released.

When using DMT as a recreational drug, you are basically inducing a dream. The effect lasts about 15-20 minutes from a decent amount of DMT. You won't remember any of the trip. It is the most potent hallucinogenic out there.

Seems the D.A.R.E. kids are out in full force! There's a huge difference between something that's habit forming and physically addictive. I'm mildly addicted to caffeine, and if I don't have any, I'll usually get severe headaches. Heck, withdrawal from alcohol addiction is quite likely to kill you. Marijuana, on the other hand, is habit forming. If you smoke it everyday and try to quit cold turkey, things might not feel quite the same but there won't be any real form of physical withdrawal. X, lsd, shrooms, and dmt are much the same; that's also where the list of drugs I'd personally take ends. There's a difference between needing something to make a situation fun and enjoying the feeling of a substance while in a fun environment. Though, it seems to be a concept one can only grasp after having experienced both. Regardless, responsibility is key when partaking in any substance at all. Responsibility in the form of research and understanding, preferably. Almost nothing in this world is without some sort of negative effect. Also, people who use drugs to escape reality=!recreational drug users. Blurred is such a silly person.

You'dd be suprised how many people use it, some guys in my class aswell, i'dd never have known if they dint invite me to a party.
When i was asked to a party those guys would also bring XTC etc, they're nice guys overall etc, but in my opinion its just lame.

I dont need to do drugs to have fun, and besides that, i've seen my share of people pretty close to me f*cking up their lifes for drugs.
I wont ever do drugs, i dont mind some alcohol- but i know my limits there too.
I dont see the point in getting completely wasted, doing dumb shit you'dd later on regret and feeling shitty that night / the day after.

A friend tripped on dextromethorphan once. dextromethorphan, or DXM, is the main ingredient in most over the counter cough medicines.

Pretty much down a bottle of cough medicine and you get an effect similar to ketamine. Some cool visuals and a mild trip. Dextromethorphan falls under the category of prescription drugs to me. I won't do it because of how easily accessible it is.

THINK OF THE CHILDREN, GUYS!!!! Surely, they will mainline heroine the instant they see this thread. Realistically speaking, the people who are remotely curious about drugs will try them eventually even if they're told not too. Simple exposure isn't enough to interest a majority of people because, for the most part, it's not for everyone. To be honest, I'd rather a curious person stumble upon a thread where drugs are being openly discussed by the users than continually be told nothing but "DRUGS ARE BAD, MMKAY".
