Not to encourage spam,but having ranks would be awesome Maybe every 500 Posts? IMO,keep the 1000 = Patron Member,and from that point for every 500posts you get a new Rank

I doubt anyone will actually try to "lvl up" their rank here... even on a super bored day for me I can only handle like posting 10 times before getting bored.

I like the idea of ranks, but at the same time, I dont want your post count to dictate who you are on these forums. You can have 10k posts and still be the biggest dic.k in the forum. Quality not Quantity ^_^

Yeah thats why I suggested a rank for every 500 posts or so. I remember being a big reader of a french gaming forum(MondesPersistants) and there you'd get a new rank every 50 posts Spam was everywhere.

srsly something wrong with you guys?

i'm a voluntary admin, i have no experience with any type of
admin duties other than here, i (as many others) am doing a
full time study that requires me to be at uni till 7pm, i have
tried my best to add small new things i know cant mess up the
entire forum... really being on the staff here is such a damn
thankful job. you guys really motivate us to do stuff like this.

Look at the date of that post. That thread was made before Cin was made an admin. It was created at a time that there was barely any activity, and the only admins that were around, weren't doing shit. The other mods had not the ability to add such features, regardless of whether they requested it in the Moderation Forums. If you even bothered to read the thing you'd have seen that we thought it was a good idea, but that we lacked the admin to implement them. If you are still bitter about that, redirect all you QQ'ing to the admins that should have been more active at that time.

Right after this thread was created, Cin was the one who created another thread in the mods forum section to discuss this, and many others stepped in to come up with ways to make it better. What ranks and at how many posts, or whether we should let the community decide on the ranks (Which kind of reminds me of the community whining about events, and Cin and me coming up with a bunch, and in the end, no one gives a damn).

Therefore I suggest being a little more patient, and a little more polite. Like Cin said, this is our own spare time we sacrifice. And right now you're attacking the one moderator that, far above all, wanted to make the forum in the way the community would like it.
And, not unimportant, he's the only one that can add these juvenile features you all seem to crave so much.
